So I have an 87 fc turbo 2, has a vortec out of a Buick truck got it from some guy next state over I’ve had a friend drive it he said it was fine... I’ve never had a 4l80e trans so weird question do they have 2 drives? It’s an auto. Currently out of town I let him start it for me since it’s cold where I live and he was trying to figure out the pattern of the transmission. Noob here I’ve never had a vehicle with and engine swap lol.

 

4 speed, with 3rd being 1:1 Drive, and 4th being 0:75 overdrive.
