My turbo 5.3 FC

They're just flipped 5.3 EGR manifolds with the EGR part deleted.

So this was starting to seem like a never ending build due mostly to time constraints, but miraculously I've got my ducks in a row and am ready for a test drive next weekend. Here is how the car is looking right now. The only thing left is routing the shifter cable (which will be a chore).
I'm not sure how that filter will do but I'm going to try it anyway.
I bought HPTuners Pro and have a really good base tune to start with, so I'm just going to teach myself the rest.

This is the path i'm considering if I go ahead with the '7 build. The 5.3 is such a popular, mass produced, motor of the LS family that finding a donor should be easy and relatively low cost.
The bigger issue is turbo sizing and pipe layout - obviously it can be overcome but in the end I would like to keep all of the accessories.
Thanks for sharing your build!

What is that braided line from the radiator to a junction block on top of the motor for? Pardon my ignorance. I am about to pull the trigger on this swap and trying to learn as much as possible! Thanks
