v8 = "muscle car" or v8 = "mustang" or <insert domestic here> is a false connection. The engine is the engine, the chassis is the chassis.

I dont look at the RX-7 as a package deal that I have to accept everything about. I want to make a car as cheap as I can with the best well rounded performance I can get. If I couln't do a v8 rx-7, Id either do a v8 Z-car or a turbo miata. I see the RX-7 as an awesome chassis, not just a chariot for the rotary.

As far as you wanting to appreciate the way the FB was, I got nothing against that. Im just making pragmatic decisions to get the most for my buck while Im still broke and in college, and kind of pissed at misinformation spewing hateful rotards. And no, there hasnt been HATE on this page, but in my dealings with a lot of rotards in this forum and elsewhere, I have seen some of the most hateful ignorance you could imagine.

mostlikely to be understeering like a bitch without a good suspension setup. eben then it might noe be the same. anyway rx7s should be left as is. if you want an LS1 buy a car with one already in it.

There are jackasses everywhere.... just remember to not to confuse their passion for a position contrary to yours with ignorance. Two sides to every coin.

And a good point to the contrary position.

Are you new, or stupid? How many times have people demonstrated that the weight, weight disturbiton, and handling isn't effected?

You used the button yet?

Also, we dont want a car with a LS1, to get a LS1... we want handling and power. Im glad you THINK a RX-7 should be as is but I'd rather have more power, torque, reliability, fuel economy and serviceability than the rotary has to offer, and at the same power levels a v8 has, or the engine Im going with, a ford 2.3T, a rotary would cost more and be less reliable.
