Hehe, thanks scott.

I know how it is to ride in V8 monsters though. I almost bought the new GTO. My friend has a roadrunner with some chrysler V8 (not sure on the history of them). And i drove my friends 98 GTS viper (i know its a v10 but almost same thing lol) because i wanted to get one and i still am sooner or later. But idk, never ever thought about putting the V8 into my FD. But if its for the better, i guess i will. And if it makes my car faster and more reliable stock, cant get any better than that.

GM and NSU Motorenwerken both designed rotaries as well. GM had a 4 rotor displacing somewhere around 400 cubic inches and making a good amount of HP and TQ in a Vette concept in the 70s. Any of them could be procured (with some difficulty) and swapped in. Fool.

I would do the swap, but the rear end options on Tii sucks! If someone can find me some 3.27 final drive gears to bolt up to the T56, i would take on the swap in a heart beat.
if you do the math, 3.27s are overkill unless you just want a highway monster. Somewhere closer to 3.90 gears are pretty reasonable with a 6 speed (30 mpg highway range). There are some options in the pipe to use 3.90 gears on a TII diff, still working on details though.

3.90?! Interesting! What is the trap speed with the stock 3.90/ 4.10 gears?

I was trying to get the GETREG supra six speed on to my 3.73 gears MKIII, and the supra guys were saying 1ST gear would come and go by too quick and its un usable.

But anyways, maybe when i blow up my motor with my GT42, i think i will reconsider about the LS1/2
