I ran a 13.88 yesterday but my fuel pump **** the bed right at the end i probably could have pulled a 13.5.
Mods.
1987 turbo II with JDM S5 swap
Large street port
PanSport ECU with SAFC for dial in
Boost controller @ 14 psi
FMIC With BOV
Mazda Speed clutch
All emisions removed
3" exhaust from turbo back
msd 6AL
Fuel pump rewire.
HKS Intake
HKS plugs with RE wires
Kei office front/ tein rear coil overs
Theres more that i am missing i am sure.

I ran a 15.01@98 without launching and a 0-60' of 2.5 and spinning. I have stock turbo at stock boost with a ported wastegate, rb rev2 exhaust, hks intake, tb mod, and rtek 1.5. I am only running like 6psi so if i can bump it to 8 and need some good tires i could probably get around a 14.5 with launching maybe better.

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
you want 10 psi?
get 720 secondaries and aeromotive fpr for boosted engines.
you will be able to run up 10 psi without hurting your motor much. you could run 14 psi and still be rich with this set up but i would only do it for short short pulls in cold/cool nights.
remember.running 12-14 psi without tuning timing and fuel could dramaticaly shorten your engines life. as that dude found out the hardway

I am running 14 PSI on stock injector, stock rewired fuel pump and SAFC with a PANsport ECU and my air fuels are great. The stock pump can flow a decent bit of fuel ( about 220lph) and the stock injectors should be good up around 300 hp. I hit 248 hp and my air fuels were ok. so..... i geuss it has to do more with the tunning/ tunner. ( puts on flame suit)

Stock injectors are not good for 300 hp, at least no for long! In order to acheive 300 crank hp you would have to run the stock injectors at 100% duty cycle which would over heat them and cause them to fail prematurely. Check out this fuel calculator for more reliable info on fuel requirements at different power levels.

If you want to run 12+psi on the stock turbo as cheap as possible, I suggest a pair of 720cc injectors(ebay $125) + an rtek 7 ecu upgrade($125)= $250 total, that's not much compared to an engine rebuild.

I ran a 14.9 with
RB 2.5 dp
bonez 2.5 cat
rb 2.5 catback
apexi intake
rp fcd
aem tru boost set to 50% duty cycle (7.5 in first, 8.5-9 in fourth)
stock sized wastegate
153k original engine that eats a small amount of coolant and grinds 2nd gear
17x8 wheels on 215 Nexxens
no ps, air pump, acv, ac
act 6 puck
slipping clutch at 3-4k I landed a 2.3 60'
It looks like stock to lightly modified tiis pull 15.5 - 14.5 VERY consistantly

While part of this topic is on safe boost. Does 7psi with about 8psi peak of boost creep (1psi creep), rev tii racing beat exhaust, fcd, ported wastegate sound safe for an 87 t2? What is the safe maximum boost you can get out of an s4 t2?

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
Mine has always done 7 psi with a 9 psi creep in third gear. Never had a prob.
I have 720cc 2nds and FCD.
ANd Fuel cut it not at 12 psi. Its lower.

Let's get silly...

I boost 8psi on the stock turbo 550p/750s injectors. Tuning via a piggyback and RE-Am ECU (type-B). I have a re-wired walbro fuel pump that sees 13.5v minimum under full boost.
The motor is a pineapple race motor with a mild street port.
Even at this low boost im basically at max duty cycle for these injectors and my turbo is pretty taxed as the car puts 250-270 to the ground depending on what dyno it is on...
Stock injectors are not safe for much if any increase in boost or apreciable increase in power. I also challenge anyone to show me a FC with a stock turbo that can hold any more than about 10psi up to redline...
Because with the street port mine drops off to 7psi at redline and its a brand new turbo (as in factory new).
Further, fuel cut on a stock ECU car with no fuel cut defender is about 8psi.
