This was my first dyno session and i totally forgot a thumb drive for saving my run files. So i didnt get to save all my dyno runs on file. But the shop gave me one computer printout of a 231hp and 209tq run. Its not far off of what i maxed out at. The curves should be pretty similar.

And ya, its loud lol. Its my drift car so i dont care how loud it is. The louder the better as far as im concerned. I would never tolerate that noise on a street car.

Torque delivery seems a little...off... How soon do you see max boost?

Well, i noticed after i got home from dyno session that the wastegate rod was just sitting there not connected the door arm. Idk how long it was disconnected. But i imagine i lost alot of spool up time with that be disconnected.

It was probably off during the dyno run. Torque normally follows boost.

It sucks cause i was using a stock s4 turbo with the twin scroll. It spooled pretty good.~2800rpm. I see boost now around 3-3200rpm with the rod hooked up ha.

something seems off, the s5 turbo (assuming its in the same condition) should spool at least as quickly as the s4.

Promising results nonetheless, I'm running a very similar setup, but have to finish rear-end/ brake upgrades before I can hit the dyno.

Idk, my s4 turbo was on its last leg. It had horrible in and out play and up and down and smoked alot at idle. My s5 turbo is off a Jdm motor. Unknown mileage. I ported it to help the boost creep. It had normal shaft play. No in and out play. I think you can get the s4 to spool a tad quicker if you utilize the twin scroll on the manifold. Most people take the flapper door out of the manifold and run it like a s5. The s5 turbo has a bigger wastgate to help control boost better. I've only driven the car twice since tuned. From what i can tell. The s4 turbo spooled a little quicker. BUT!!! It could be cause the manifold to turbo gasket was destroyed so i tried to get away with not using one when i got tuned. So that could be why it spools alittle slow. It leaks and sounds like doo doo during engine deceleration. I was hoping for alittle more hp and tq to be honest. But i was on a time crunch and apparently had some bugs to work out. But this will do for now. Gt35 will get me to my power goal in the future.

ummm.....yea. A huge exhaust leak would tend to negatively affect spool.

GT35/9.4 rotors....I'd love to ride in that car.

I fixed the manifold to turbo gasket with a 4 layer metal one. Didnt fix anything...turbo still makes a horrible sound under decel. Almost like the blades are rubbing the housing. Kinda sounds like little springs bashing around in my DP...It has 0 leaks now. I think the turbo is just not happy anymore. It boosts fine. But that horrid sounds just makes my car sound like crap. Guess i better start saving for that new turbo...ha.
