Yes on a car with less power so it is a bit easier but they were not very large/sticky tires anyway. BFG Comp 1's in 235/55R15. Might have been 60 series I cannot remember as they have bit the dust a while ago.
I will definitely agree with Jacob that it does matter on what kind they are but 32psi is to high. 32psi is what you drive on them for the street man, not the track. I ran 12 pounds in my 240sx which carries more weight over the rear end and still could have dropped them further. A good friend of mine runs the same tires I have in 255/55R16 on a TurboII and cuts consistent high 1.7's. Yes these tires do say do not go below 15, but thats legal stuff..

I'm trying to help you out here buddy, no need to be rude in your criticism.
#1. You make a claim of lower 60 foots, prove it. Lets see slips.
#2. I dont care about post count.
#3. I have been dragging for over 16 years, I am PERFECTLY aware of what tire pressure does. But if you are at the strip and fiddling with your tire pressure, you didnt make the proper preparations. I got those tires on the car about 20 mins before we hit the track, I had NO time to make any Test runs.
#4. You TRY to launch a car you JUST put together that weekend. OH NO! Your shakedown pass bagged you a 1.8!! HORROR!! I need some seat time to adjust launch techniques for the T-61/etc..

I was just trying to give you some advice since you were running 32psi in tires when a lower pressure could net you better 60 foots. Is your cooling system malfunctioning?

Nope,

Coolant temps at the beginning were 185, end of run were 195-198. By the time I got to the timing booth, I temps were coming back down.
