Wow If you ran it up to 8k you wouldd be in the 11s solid with 409whp and power climbing to redline..

Nice run

Speaking of 12 runs . This is one against a mustang. If you listen you can tell I miss 4th and am off the gas while you here the stang staying on it to catch up.
1.78 60ft, 14.5 psi stock motor TO4 B (my ols setup) And you can see my streets.
Ito said he kept watching to see how I launched on like that.(Trick)

I believe your 62-1 will put you way down in time! Good run!
Sorry I didnt see 2nd gen untill too late ...but you will do a lot better with that turbo!

Thanks all for the responses. There is another no-hassel street day tomorrow but I don't think I'll make it. The camera work was done by a friend with his sony digital camera. I did the editing and made the video with Movie Maker 2 (free deal from microsoft).

He was running 13/7's in a stock 04 GTO with M/T streets. It's not a bad looking car.

I was the quickest import there but a guy had a street legal LS1 camaro running 10's. Dunno what he had on it but I do know he didn't drive it 45 miles one way to the track. I think he may have trailered it or at least had an enclosed trailer beside his car with his racing stuff and tools in it.

LS1's and GT's are the big thing here. I finally got to show the guys around here that an import can run pretty well.

Was a guy around last year from Saudi (he was rich) and going to college at Texas Tech and he dropped 35k down cash on a super clean supra then had it shipped off someplace to get it modded up and I heard he was running 10's. I never saw it but heard about it.

I didn't watch the vid, but good time. How expensive was it to make 409hp at the wheels, BTW, because thats actually my goal. Thanks.

Reliable and starting from scratch your looking at 7-9k in parts including a rebuild with good internals and porting.

Doesn't your car have a pretty big port job? If so, I think there's a TON of time you could knock off if you just tuned the car beyond 7000. Your car is wicked quick nonetheless.

Car makes more power on up to fuel cutoff thats set at 8250rpm. I was on call for work that weekened and was not supposed to be out of town so I was shifting early and taking it easy since a breakdown could have also meant my job.

I busted the rear end out 2 weeks ago on the street with street tires so I'm putting in a KAAZ which I have already and am currently looking for a set of 4:33 ring and pinion gears now. Twisted the left axle. busted the right, and shattered the diff. Meh, too much power is bad for your wallet.

It's a street port but It's a really BIG street port. Big as the porter (Don Marvel) said I should go if I still wanted to drive it on the street and be fairly comfortable with it. It doesn't have much low end at all but the mid and top end are screamers.

62-1 pushing 19psi on the vid with C16. That is max on the turbo. Starts loosing boost between 8-8.5k at 19psi.

Haltech E6K
Greddy FMIC
Tial BOV and Wastegate
Profec-b
4 puck clutch
93 rotors
3mm seals (hurley race seals)
S5 front and rear housings
custom manifold
3" all the way back
1.05 hot side
550 primary, 1600 secondary
Aluminum flywheel 11# or 9# I do not remember now, been 2 years ago since I got that
NGK 105 race plugs
seals have been given a little more clearance that stock

Had some reliablity machining done to help oil flow.

stock TII rear end and tranny

MT Drag Radials

2500 watts of ground pounding stereo. ; ) That doesn't help my time but it sure is nice to listen too when driving home from the track!
