Nice...
I've never been dragracing, but I love how those M/T's hook right up. I'd bet with street tires, you'd just be spinning...

What RPM did you shift at out of 2nd and 3rd?

Sounded kindof early to me.

Nice run, nevertheless.

Yeah I had to drive it back home and was on call for work that day so a breakdown would have been a no-no. I was shifting around 6.8-7k, fuel cut is at 8.5 and the power curve is still climbing at fuel cutoff so the car has another half second in it with a higher launch rpm and higher shift points.

Oh and yeah, the rednecks do race their trucks. We had a guy in a late 70's early 80's 4 door 3/4 ton pickup with 3 passengers in the truck with him running 18's. Guy had a dually out there racing it running 16's and some dood in a 3/4 ton deisel 4 door 4x4 chevy running 14's with propane injection.

Yo, I have to give you your due credit... your car is wicked... My god-father has a 04' Z06 and always makes fun of me for gettin a rx7... he thinks that they are worthless... anyway, when I showed him the video he was actually impressed b/c when his vette was stock it was running 12.22 1/4miles... now he thinks that they actually do have potential... hopefully thats how my rex will be when I finish w/ it in june...

It's the only 16" MT Drag Radial they make. I forget the size but Summit or jegs have it listed I believe. My car is lowered about an inch and they fit fine on the stock rim but do have a little side bulge. Could use a little wider rim but what the hey, stock rims are free.
