Have bet with buddys. What do you think?

You can see the list of mods I have in my signature and I am about to upgrade to Rtek7 2.1,add boost controller and put 550's back in as primary injectors. When I take it to get tuned (between 10 & 15 psi) what kind of numbers do you guys think I might make?Me and two of my buddys at work have came up with some numbers but I wont to know from some people that might a little better. It's killing me I have to Know I can't wait.

Funny Delicious. Now with out the boost controller it stays at about 15 all the way to redline.Should it not? Also if it did stay at 15ish you would still say 250whp.

I'd get a boost controller, a fuel pressure regulator, port the wastegate, and a fuel controller.

otherwise, running that car at 15psi all the time will definitely make the engine go boom.

my old 87TII did 244whp with similar mods. but i had a boost and fuel controller. I also did the tuning myself.

keep the 720's in the primary's. the 2.1 can control them, and you'll want them in there if you go with a small hybrid like a BNR stage 1 or 2 . I had 250rwhp on stock turbo and I used to be able to stomp stock 350Z's and STi's.

^^ he said he wants to downgrade from 720/720 to 550/720. I am telling him that that is not necessary, and in fact he might as well keep that injector combo in case he goes with a bigger turbo later. I am also telling him that 250rwhp is the practical max hp for a stock turbo.

my stock S4 turbo maxed out at 220 on the dyno. Don't remember what PSI that was at. ( I'm guessing about 12 PSI ) Keep in mind my elevation is just over 6000 feet.

J.murda....is your turbo's wastegate ported at all??? do you have a boost controller?

my 88t2 will creep all the way to 11psi without a boost controler. its because the wastegate can't flow enough to drop the boost. all i fhave is midpipe and cat back. still have stock precat(i promise to replace that soon, car came that way).

if your's is ported then you'll definately need to get a boost controler. if not....then your turbo might be on the outs. pull your intake elbow and give your turbo a little spin with your fingers...it shouldn't have any resistance. pull on the nut and see if it has any play in it.

anyways...my guess... 212RwHp!!! hahahaha

If you are able to see 15 psi up to redline, then that is not a stock turbo. The only way that will happen is if the compressor has been upgraded. As pointed out, the stock compressor wheel cannot flow enough air for even a stock ported engine to maintain anything more than about 6-7 psi at redline. Take a look at stock turbo dyno graphs and you'll see the dramatic drop in torque after ~5k rpm caused by this pressure drop.

That being said, if it is in fact a hybrid turbo and you pull out those 720s and stick the 550 primaries back in, you'll almost certainly run lean. Like arghx said, the Rtek will let you run the 720s properly and give you enough fuel to supply a small hybrid turbo.

Well I am going to keep the 720's in and i don't about the turbo as far as I know it was stock but the boost never falls back so maybe it is small hybrid .About ktunes thread besides the port I have a little more done then he has listed.
-M-spec front mount intercooler kit
-Greddy RS BOV
-3" intake
-Full 3" racingbeat exhaust
-720cc injectors
-Electronic boost controller
-255 walbro fuel pump
-9mm spark plug wires
-ACT racing clutch(to help get more of the power to the ground)
-Rtek7 2.1 (for real tuning)
-And steady boost all the way to redline
-Oh and 93 octane fuel
He listed 2.5" exhaust, injectors, font mount and afc.So I would think I could get a little more whp which would put me close to,at or above 290whp.

Not lately but as soon as she gets back out of the tune shop I will be out breaking hearts. All I need to do is put the fmic kit on and clutch in then she goes to the tune shop. Its a little hard to get done when it is your daily driver.
