First Dyno Run

I'm really happy with my horsepower, though i'd like to see the torque a bit higher. My car currently is running stock ports, R-tek 1.5 chipped ecu, and it hasnt been tuned yet.

The psi i was pushing was 17 pounds.

300hp is pretty much maxed out with my fuel mods. If i want to go any higher ill have to get some bigger injectors and a standalone.

Here is a list of my modifications http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/member...ods&car_id=781

I know your aware of it already, but I would change those 550's and 720's for a 720, 890 setup. You know, for reliability reasons.

Edit: Also, I would presume that the intercooler wasn't at it's best at the dyno. What were the temps the day of the dyno? And is this a original S4, (not rebuilt)?

Yea I need to go bigger injectors. Plus I need to richen my high map on the safc from 5k to 7500k. The temps that day were about mid 30's. The engine is an Atkins rebuilt s4.

Does that seem right?... 17psi on a stage3 bnr and only 300hp? ive seen guys run 12psi on a stock turbo and get 250... I am seriously shocked u were even able to run 17psi with only 720cc secondaries

If you're really pushing 17psi...
And the AFR is accurate in the dyno graph...

...I'm surprised the motor is still in one piece.

I've turned down my boost and riched with the safc a bit. I'm suprised too my engine hasnt blown. I'm not to sure that those are accurate readings on the AFR's, i hope not.

Does the stage 3 turbo even produce any power at 17 psi? I heard that 15 is the maximum efficiency rating.

They offer a thrust bearing for those running more psi, but i didnt get that option :0 Well once my car is tuned i can probably hit 300 at 13 or 14 psi, maybe less, i dont know. I might even gain more hp. . .

Try to get the SAE corrected HP if possible for that run. Not that it's a big deal, but it's more than likely 5 to 10 rwhp lower.

My BNR stage 3 will hold 15psi throughout the rpm range and spools like a ****. I believe Brian told me when I got mine, the turbo will produce the most HP at 15psi and it starts to drop off after 15psi. Anyway if any of you guys have problems with the turbo get ahold of Brian he has some good tips.
