Anything under 15 psi with stock ports should hold to redline

full boost before 4000 and full torque probably around 5500.

Finally finished my set up....

S4 BNR Stage 2 (12PSI)
Rtek 1.8
720CC X 4
Walboro 255 with FPR
FMIC
Turbosmart MBC

The motor itself is a low mileage rebuilt S4. All accessories removed including the OMP and running an Efan. Haven't taken it too the dyno yet but if someone wants to chime in and give me an est. HP the would be awesome!!! Im also having issues making more than 12-13 PSI even with the boost controller...any help would be greatly appreciated. Other than that im extremely satisfied with the new turbo! Car runs like a monster compared to the stock turbo!

Somewhere around the 300-330 whp range I'd say.

^ Well I put in a new fuel pump... now it is snot rich under all conditions... especially 3rd and 4th gear it goes into the high 9s... so I may just hold off on the dyno until Ben re-tunes it. Good news is I am getting a Greddy front mount installed next week

Greddy , niceee-- was it designed for an fc? Or are you adapting it.

Specifically designed for the FC. They don't make them any more, but my local Rotary Shop (rotorsport) had 2 left in stock and he was willing to sell one to me cuz I am awesome . He is keeping the other one as a keepsake since Greddy is going out of business. Rotorsport now has my car and will be doing the front mount installation so I should have it back within a week or two.

There's a Rotorsport in Cali? Or have you moved to NC and haven't updated your location?

Get some bigger injectors, you will increase the hp potential.

I plan too, once I rebuild my engine. 60k on orginal engine block, its never been out of the car. Once refreshed, bigger injectors and at lease 14psi. Untill then, I'm happy.

How's the water-to-air intercooler working for you? What are you using as a heat exchanger?

Air to water system is working great. I made a bracket and mounted it to the air pump mounting point. Not shown in that picture. I will have to take a new engine pic now. Thanks

I have a Turbonetics T04b hybrid I'm about to put on. Wondering if 550cc pri and 1000cc secondaries are enough for 380hp? I'm on a PowerFC

Dynoed today. My turbo (two posts up) is pretty much an equivalent to a BNR Stage 4.

Pull starts from ~3800rpm because the stock primaries can't handle the full boost at lower rpm.
Needs a retune on timing and fueling once i put 750cc or 680cc primaries.

15.5 PSI

Other than that:

PowerFC
huge street port
'91 S5 strongest plates for FC's
8.5:1 comp rotors
3mm seals
dowel pinned
550cc/1000cc
Premixin'

Here's the sheet

Sorry for bumping an old thread but those that have this turbo upgrade are u still happy with the upgrade?

Are u happy with the stage u upgraded 2? Meaning if u got a stage 2 do u wish u got a stage 3 or 4? For those that got a stage 4 do u wish u got a stage 3 or 3 for faster spool time?

I have a hybrid turbo equivalent to stg 4. And full boost is at 3200rpm. That's tremendously fast spool time so I have no regrets.
