spending too much money..

had a stage III and a stage IV and both felt great! I think the only thing about bnr turbo is that really the differance of hp between the differant models is not that much. I would emagine that you could get the same amount of power out of the stage 2 as you could with that stage 4 or at least very close to it. they are all very capable turbos with great bang-for-your-buck hp but I just think you could get roughly about the same power with the smaller stages as you could get with a larger stage.

I bought the car with the bnr, ill get it dyno'd as soon as my apexi power FC comes in, then it's getting tuned/dyno'd.

Well I wrecked my fc...and decided to ditch my fmic setup to see if it would help keep coolant temps down so I'm going v-mount. Waiting on the intercooler and I'm having Rotary Evolution put in the meth kit and fab up the v-mount.
EDIT: Also I was using a cosmo fuel pump, 720cc primary, 1000cc secondary.

Post up some pics of your v-mount when you get it.

Actually, wouldn't that just be a stage 4 without a 60-1 compressor wheel?

I'm going stage III. I was hoping to have enough money with my tax return... ha boy was I fooled when i found out that i'm going to have to pay in almost 1000.00. So much for that. So hopefully after my birthday in July. I made 248 with the stock S4 turbo so i'm hoping to get some really good numbers.

I just talked to Bryan again he said that a stage 2 with a p trim turbine wheel would kill spool time and would only net 10 - 20 rwhp up top.

Are you guys running s4 or s5 bnr turbos? I have a s5 with stock housings but with 60-1 turbine done from some company. Was thinking to just turn it in and have bnr put a stage 2 or 3 so i would have the bigger housing. I am shooting for 300hp but still have alot of work to get my 10th anni ready to drop in a engine.

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
That one guy with stage 1, made 300 whp at 10 psi. I believe the R tek 2.0 had a lot to do with him making 300 whp at only 10psi. I bet a knowledgable tunner can trim that fuel and work the timing maps to perfection. Thats what counts.
I have a BNR turbo also geting built as we speak. Im not sure what atge it will be. BUt it was originaly built by Andres turbochargers and BRN said it was a horrible job and that they needed to fix a lot of stuff. 350$ dollar rebuild turned out to be near 500$
But eventually i will post my dyno numbers.
