418rwhp FC Power

I know this isn't a FC, but its heart is an s4 T2 engine.
Intake ports are stock, only the exhaust is ported.

Don't mind the big dip in the torque curve it was cured, AFR was a 10.1 there.

To4B v1/v2 .96 P trim
3.5" exhaust
Open Tial 44mm wastegate
Chemical intercooler only( AI- 750cc 50/50 water alcohol)
Holley 600 4 barrel
Twin MSD 6AL, blaster coils etc
Locked timing at 15degree

418rwhp corrected @ 15psi of boost
Boost creep does show 19psi in this graph, but there was no difference in power above 15psi because of lack of an inter-cooler.

Dyno was stopped at 7500rpms as the owner said its got enough power for the 1600# vehicle.

Thanks.

Not bad for a 55mm(inducer) turbo! Thats smaller than a 57 trim To4E...

Wicked! I've heard of this, locked timing and a carb. No EFI or F'ing ECU there, just a turbo and gas. Nice, Big middle finger to Electronics and Technology...

I won't do another carb; its just too much of a pain.

We took it out a few weeks ago and it did well, but we needed to make some changes.
We're doing a new turbo manifold to eliminate the boost creep, lowering the boost to 12psi, adding an intercooler, and switching to just pure water injection.

Owner never went more than 3/4 throttle either, he said he was too scared!

How about shearing right off?

We added an s5 plate and a set of our studs after this, haven't had a problem. Power is a lot higher now too with the inter-cooler than that dyno..

This is all on a To4b... Damn. What made it shear like that? Just running it at over 400HP? or Did something else cause it?

Nice, I enjoyed watching the back end sink, and the tires expand at high rpm/speed
