Second pass at a drag strip ever. LS1 FC stock motor with true daul 2.5 to 3" exhaust, filter and tune. Hankook Ventnus 275/40/17 at 40 psi were spinning all night. LOTS of room for improvement.

Maybe try to think for a second, rather than just making (what appears to have been) an attempt to bash an LS1?

FC...LS1...Motor is STOCK...no cams, valves, porting, etc...

nice time.
congrats and good luck on improving, theres plenty of room to get faster!
I snagged a 12.9 @ 112 when I had mine down at NYIRP last year.
(stock LS1 in a not so stock FC)

cant complain about that kinda time from an untouched motor! wooot!

My last pass on the drag strip on a stock FC motor was 12.01 at 123.8 MPH. Stock motors CAN go fast.

Sure are! I've gone 11.7's with a stock LS1 motor N/A in my 91 RX7. I'm sure stock motor'd turbo rotary's (with huge turbo/weight reduction/whatever) have gone bottom 11's.. and probably even 10's.
