Steve Kan tuned me yesterday

Engine related mods -
Stock ports, I rebuilt 4k miles ago, RA 2mm seals
Stock sequential twins
downpipe
bonez cat
rb dual tip catback
Power FC
Profec B spec ii
custom v-mount
99-spec y-pipe
K&N air filters and aluminum hardpipes
550 primary injectors
1550 secondary injectors
Denso supra turbo fuel pump
HKS twin power
BR9EQ leading and trailing
All I can think of for the moment...

Results from other tuning sessions that day made us very cautious so Steve and I decided to tune to 12psi with very conservative AFRS. AFRs were 10.5-10.7 on boost. The car drives very smoothly and feels plenty powerful now.

Hey how does your car run now after getting it tuned and driving it for years?

Sorry to be a dick again Steve; but frankly; those numbers are very low. What makes it worse is that you did it on a Dynojet, to be honest; if there was something wrong with this low number lets please hear it. I'd love to hear how you got 280whp on a Dynojet with such a optimal setup.

According to what was listed before 12psi, which should easily net him well into the low-mid 300whp range given his setup. Would love to hear clarification from Steve.

Good catch. Didn't even realize the grave digging.

I'd really like to see the differences in the style of their tunes to see what exactly Ball Joint would do differently. Is it AFRs, timing, etc.

Time for round 2.

since you like to dig through old threads with hp numbers. Do us a favor and go find about 20 cars with similar setup and boost. Do the average and standard deviation on them. give us those numbers and let us know what the sigma, 3 sigma, and 6 sigma for the 20 samples. This will tell us if this car is within the range.
