Problems with ET Streets walking all over the track?

Made a few runs with ET Streets last night. Best 60 foot of 1.557 which is okay I guess.

Anyways, I had problems with ending up in the other lane so I'd have to shut her down. These ET Streets seem to walk over over the track. I run between 12.5-15 psi tire pressure.

Is this normal?

Yeah, you do drift around. I have run 11 lbs and that gets pretty shaky but it's controllable. Are you sure you had the same pressure in each tire. I usually run 12.

GREAT 60' time.

I'm pretty sure I had the same pressure in each tire. I'm thinking that I might have had a hard time staying in the groove. Track conditions were pretty cold so.....

1.557 felt pretty nice

Bounced it off the rev limiter, then dropped the clutch. Limiter set at 8100.

I have tried that too. Didn't work. So this winter I replaced suspension pieces with Petitt links, replaced all my bushings, put in a 6 puck, and had a rear alignment done, all in the interests of the launch. Unfortunately my alignment was really screwed up & I have only been to the track once this year for an 11.7.

With the cold weather I am still shootin' for 11.5 in the next month. I will try ***** to the wall launch again.

I'm able to get like 5 lbs of boost launching it off the rev limiter. I also have a ford mustang gt live axle with a 4 link suspension if that matters.

I cut a 1.5503 tonight and went 11.14 at 121.46 mph. I hit the rev limiter in 3rd gear. It probably would have been a high 10 second pass. I made 4 passes 11.52, 11.23, 11.14 and my final pass was a 12.93 at 63 mph. The car got out of the groove and moved a little towards the left wall. I completly shut it down.

All my 1/8th miles were 98.5mph. I am running 4.10 gears again. My 4.30 are gone.

So close and something so petty like a mis shift keeps you from a 10.

I'm thinking that I got out of the groove too, that's why I drifted or got out of shape. Pretty scary huh?

I always run 15 psi at the track. I drive to the track with 25 psi in my ET streets.

Can't we all

Have you tried running less pressure. If so, was it any different? Sway back and forth?

bouncing off the rev limiter cant be good for the car? what kind of problems can this cause? If its not so bad why is it not so bad?

is it safe to do this on stock axles? What about stock tranny?

My advice is try staying off the rev limiter...

I am running stock axles but have broke 3 of them over the past 1.5 years. Stock tranny is fine but you upgrading the diff is a must. I just switched from the KAZZ LSD to a CUSCO LSD.

ET streets are a must at the track.

Think about it, why would it be bad to run it off the rev limiter? Exactly, no reason not to.

I won't break any axles.

I also have a kaaz diff and it drives me crazy. It makes so much noise when I turn. Is there a way to adjust it?
