First time at the track with my FD.

My car is stock with 74k on the original motor and turbos. My mods are Apexi dual intake, bonez dp, bonez high flow cat, greddy evo exhaust, and apexi power fc set at 12.5 psi.

My first time at the track with this car, better yet a rear wheel drive and i went 13.211 @ 105.7mph on my stock rims and tires. Cut a 1.9 60' . I'm very impressed with my car, i was only expecting a 13.5 out of it. Makes me very happy

not bad, but your stock motor/turbos may be getting tired. with downpipe, hollow cat, and 3" catback @ 8-9lbs I ran a 13.0 and consistantly trap 106.

I find it really hard to believe it.
Any other info you're missing here ? Drag tires ? Lightened car ?

I would have to see it to believe it.

You must be a pretty good driver to run 13.0 et with only 8-9 lbs of boost. I could see that et with higher boost. Anyway good times...

russell

nice 60' on street tires.

Booth of you keep practicing and 12's will come...and then 11's

lightened car somewhat...touring but i took out the spare and bose wave tube in the back. Khumo 711 tires, 245/45/16 with 21lbs of air in them.

downpipe, hollow cat, 3" catback. holes cut in the bottom of the stock airbox and the upper intake pipe was replaced with a hardpipe. pretty sure thats it performance wise. 5 dollar ebay boost controller opened up fully to give me minimum boost. i might hit 10 for a seconds, but it holds inbetween 8 and 9 till 7500 where i shift.

i can send you the timeslip if you really wanna see

I raise the BS flag. I think your Boostgauge must be bad. I can't beleive your saying that you ran a 13.0 on stock turbo and stock motor running lower boost then stock.

well the only possibility is a bad boost gauge. i have no reason to lie about anything else. i'll try to get an in-cockpit camera next time im out.

believe it if you want, but with less mods than me im pretty sure kevin wyum was well in the 12s.

Where you on street tires, or on drag radials or slicks?

i already answered that, khumo 711 245/45/16 tires. thats the very bottom line of khumo "performance" tires....100% street tire. thats why my 60ft was so bad. non-seq is hard to launch.

its not my driving, im not a pro drag racer...maybe my boost gauge is inaccurate, who knows. i've never hit fuel cut, and my inaccurate boost gauge has never gone over 10psi ever. so with those mods, and i guess "undetermined" boost, i still run that mph. the ET will drop when i put on drag radials...then you guys really wont believe it.
