dyno'd again today

last winter i dyno'd the FD and it made 265whp/232wtq @10psi. for those that dont know, over the summer i made some changes to the FD; i ditched the custom downpipe/hiflowcat/RB catback setup i had on it. that exhaust setup flowed pretty well, but it was kinda loud and it had several exhaust leaks from the rusted mild-steel downpipe and hiflow cat. on this setup i ran a 12.51@110.6mph

i replaced the rusted downpipe and cat with a new stainless downpipe and midpipe and installed my STOCK CATBACK. i mainly did this because it's hella quiet , and i knew i'd lose power. i went back to the track with that setup and ran a 12.60@109mph, which was one tenth and 1mph slower, so i was happy with it.

i recently got a PowerFC and datalogit and i wanted to raise the boost up to 12psi to get the power back up to where it was before while keeping the noise down. this would also support future mods if i decide to get another catback exhaust, intercooler, etc.

so at this point, the mods on the FD are:
intakes
downpipe/midpipe (stock catback)
non-sequential mod
PowerFC EMS
@12psi

the last run i got 266whp/243wtq

as you can see, the tq is higher than it was before, and pretty high for 266whp on a rotary, so you can tell i have a big exhaust restriction... the intake temps also got to about 135*F, so the stock intercooler is also hating life. to its defense though, the dynojet said the ambient temp in the facility was 94*F :eek3:
i'll try to post the dyno graph a little later.

Nice numbers for so few mods. Now get that exhaust opened up, and a new intercooler. Should breathe nicely then.

well, check the time slips section... i ran a 12.0@115 last weekend running open downpipe (with a little over 300whp probably)

with a 118mph trap you should be able to hit 11's
