Dyno results

I went to the dyno last night to see what she was putting down. After two runs that didnt do that good I let her cool down and cranked out 310 SAE corrected WHP (313 uncorrected). With my current mods and the fact that iam still automatic iam preety happy with this number. My current mods are Intake, DP, MP, CB, walbro, PFC, greedy elbow and piping, RX7 store underdrive pulley, RX7 store stage 2 motor with large street port, and non seq turbos tuned by rx7 store at 12psi. The weird thing was we only took it to 7 the first couple of times and it was still making power so on the third run I upped my rev limit to 7600 and made a astonishing 19 more whp. The weird thing is that its still not showing any signs of dieing off... its still making power. doesent the rx7 normally stop making power at 6500??? I know the port helps but damn. Ill post the graph once I get home and scan it in.

I was making power up untill about 7800rpms on the dyno when he let off. It was my last run so I didn't get another chance to take it higher.

My FD pulls hard to 8200, but I extensively ported the motor and UIM/LIM.

Where is the dyno sheet?

how do you dyno an automatic car? ive never thought about it. . .

i guess you stick it in one of the gears and stay there. . . which one is 1:1?

I got a question for ya. How good does your car accelerate considering your car is a automatic??

btw sorry to being this post back from the dead.

It accelerates great! The only complaint I have is that the gears are way to long and when it shifts it drops you below where you make good power so once you get it into 3rd the car will actually accelerate harder at 110 then at 80.... . Other then that 1st and 2nd accelerate very hard and 4th is still... well.... 4th.

well... I would guess third.. thats the gear we used and since the PFC killed the hold function we just put it in S and started from 70mph.
