Dyno Results

Dynoed my fd tonight @ 227hp to the wheels on pump gas(91) with 7lbs. of boost. I will have results with about 12-14lbs. of boost tomorrow morning. My mods are: Stock rebuild with 6k on it, stock twins, Apex fmic, Greddy elbow, K&N intake, mp, dp, PFS cb, Pettit & Greddy pullys, XS chipped ecu (chipped for all my mods @ 14.7 lbs. of boost), Fluidyne radiator, HKS blow off valve, Walbro fuel pump, upgrade ground system, ngk plugs, and magnicore wires. I think that is all the mods that would even matter. I'll post results tomorrow. Does that sound like decent power for low boost? What do you guess I will have with 12-14lbs of boost on pump gas?
Thanks,
Erik

I got aprox. 15hp per pound of boost, so if you up the boost by 5psi = 75hp so you should be around 300rwhp at 12psi and 330rwhp at 14 psi. But heat factor is not calculated in here. So realistically around 320rwhp at 14psi.

Good mods.

278hp at the wheels at 13.2lbs. of boost with pump gas (91 occtain). It is running very rich and since I have a chipped ecu, I have alot of room for hp gain with a proper programable ecu. What do you guys think? Do you think those are good numbers for my mods?

I agree with getting a ecu I can tune. Like I said, it is running very rich so I know I have alot of room for improvement. But 350hp to the wheels seems a little high for 13lbs. of boost with stock twins and motor.

How rich was it? AFRs? At 13 psi with the Pettit or another ecu should put you around 325.

Are the plugs new ?
Was this a mustang dyno ?

Do you get 3psi of boost in neutral on boost gauge ? I'm guessing a small boost leak, causing turbos to spin over their efficiency range.

Do you get any ignition breakup at top ?

Do you have restrictor plate in the exhaust or wastegate ported ?

You should be getting more power than that. Just look at my thread just below yours. At 12 psi I got 322rwhp with the mods I have. Also in my thread there is my dyno graph.

I'm guessing that mine is running alot richer do to my ecu and your street port is giving you more power than my stock motor. I just sold my car and he is going to get a Power FC. My dyno graph is not quit as smooth as yours so I'm sure with the proper ecu, that my numbers will go up.

I made those numbers with a DP, CB and intake. Were you on a dynojet? Even if it was rich it shouldn't be much below 325 with that midpipe in there.
