While you've got him, could you ask if there's any chance of incorporating the new Garrett GTX compressor wheels into the BNR's?

Guys, I spoke to BNR and he asked that you send him a picture of your compressor wheel (one is enough, lol) to BNRSupercars@yahoo.com and he'll be able to tell you which you have based on the pics

The aeromotive 340 lph fuel pump is a good pump, I'm using it currently with over 500 hp and logging fuel pressure. The stock fpr should probably be one of the first things to upgrade in the fuel system and I would think is a good idea if running higher boost.

Tom,
I'm also running the 340 with the relay upgrade but like Ball joint I'm running the stock FPR, new albeit. I just don't want the sucker to fail which is why I asked.

I replaced it with a aeromotive fpr when I bought a fuel kit for 1680 secondarys years ago, I don't actually have any bad experiences with the stock fpr, I just figured its a good idea to upgrade it since fuel pressure is important, but maybe others can chime in about it.

It's nice to know your fuel pressure and the stock FPR was manufactured to handle lower voltage and a stock fuel pump. Running the voltage up and increasing to the 340 is going to be harder on the stock FPR for sure but how much harder I guess is the question.

Good luck! Are you running sequentially or non? How much boost you plan on running?

Russel,
Are you spraying before turbo or after? What size injector nozzle are you using? I am spraying post turbo with a 440 cfm injector with a 50/50 mixture of water and methanol.

For those who boosted above 18 psi what wastegates did you use? Pics?

Tom,
Did they hold the boost or did they start venting ? When they do this you will see the boost drop which 20 plus down to 18 or so and usually folks attribute the drop to the turbos but it's the waste gates. The spring is too weak.

Idk that could explain it. IT would spike to 21+ and then drop to 17-18 psi, there could be enough back pressure in there to open it with a stock wastegate spring.

The stock wastegate doesn't have a spring…. it's a simple flapper door.

Bryan at BNR has always stated that the restriction is in the shared turbine housing itself.
