1/4 Mile time! F*CKIN EHHH!

I went down to the carolina dragway tonigh (the house of ****** hook!) And once I spent damn 2 hours in the staging lane.... I got to run my car for the first time And WOW I knew it was doing pretty good but if was ****** rocking, I took out a 67-69 Camero on M/T ET slicks and skinnies! He was running a small block stroker, with roller cam, demon carb spraying NOS, exahust.... Fast little car, I was looking at it in the staging lanes for like an Hour thinking, "damn I'm about to get me *** handed to me...." Then by the time we got off the line, that's all he was thinking!!!

My times were:

60"- 2.024
330- 5.558
1/8- 8.315 at 90.27 MPH
1000- 10.717
1/4- 12.719 at 113.10 MPH

My launch was kind of shitty.... I had it at 5K and let it out to fast so it bogged back to 3K.... Second gear got a little spin right when I popped the clutch back out, and from there on it was smooth sailing all the way to 113 MPH!!!

That seems pretty for these mods:

-Apexi dual funnel filters

-Blitz FMIC

-Custom 3" IC piping

-780cc primary injectors, and 1300cc secondary injectors (Both sets are made by Venom)

-Koyo radiator

-Braille lightweight battery, and custom tray/tie-down

-Pettit down pipe (heat wrapped)

-Mid-pipe

-Blitz Nur-spec cat-back

-Techedge 1.5 unit wideband, was just sent back to AU for inspection, and has a new L1H1 sensor (maybe 500 miles or so on it)

-Apexi Power-FC/Commander

-Spec Stage II Kevlar sprung hub clutch, with high clamp force Spec stage II Pressure plate

-ACT, X-ACT streetlight flywheel, new pilot bearing/throwout bearing.

-Greddy pully kit

-Removed air-pump

-simplified vacume lines/removed emmissions

-Removed PS/AC

-Column mount boost gauge pod with RE-Amemiya boost gauge (reads in mmhg/bar)

-Feed (REAL FEED!) engine torque damper.

-Hot-earth ground kit (along with about 4 other ground straps that I made)

-Master-cylinder brace

Let me know what you think, I'm a huge drag racing rooky, That is only my 4th run all together....

Impressive, what tires did you have on it? I went 13.109 @ 109 last year and my mods included, apexi power fc(mostly untuned, I just went through the igntion), b&m short throw, JIC Titanium cat-back, midpipe and downpipe. I have alot more, look at the sig. I am hoping for a 12.3 or so on drag radials. My 13.1 pass was on some wal-marts specials(on the car when I purchased it) Had a 2.3 60 foot, lol.

It was running Yokahoma 245's, fair tires... they suck in the rain! Won't hook for **** on a wet road, but if it's dry their pretty damn good.

It's running 1 Bar on stock sequential twins.

I never got a solid HP number because last time I had it tuned up busted 2 IC coupler (got 1 BAR!!!) But the guy said around 350 HP on a mustang Dyno, damn good for stock twins

It sucks when vacume lines start poping off every 100 miles... Although I've started glueing them all on The one for the secondary turbo control was constantly coming off, it definatly got some glue before the track today... No problems yet, and it hit full boost quit a bit since then.

Congrats! Get some DR radials and cut a 1.7 to 1.9 60 foot time and you will be running low 12's. I myself went 12.3 on similar mods back in the day but with et streets, stock injectors and HKS Fcon ecu. Point I am making is you seem to have a well running car and drive it pretty good. Just need some better tires and watch that time drop!

Your car should trap higher at a different track, carolina has always trapped lower from my experince. My mustang trapped 125 at carolina then trapped 127 two days later at darlington and I didn't change a thing.

I highly recommend the MT drag radials, my fd went 10.8@130 with a 1.609 60ft on a set of 255/50/16's but make sure you have a trailer handy. Too many 1.6 60fts and something will break, ask me how I know. I have a stock torsen rearend thats in a 1000 pecies.
