Zeal Function B6 or SlikRoads Spec RM/A8

I would like to hear your opinions, I am trying to decide between the two of these. I can get a good deal on both of them..

Zeal B6
Con:
more expensive about $300
Pros:
Can be serviced in USA
Little higher quality

SilkRoads
Pro:
Cheaper
Con:
hmmmmmm..... Not as high quality??

Anyways I can get the Zeals for about $1700 shipped from Japan, or the Silkroads for $1400 shipped. What do you feel is more durable? Any other pros or cons you can think of? Oh BTW this is for an FC3S..

If that's the sort of price/performance bracket you're messing around in, the JIC FLT-A2 is also worth a good long look. You can get em for around $1550 from assorted places plus they also have an official U.S. shop for servicing them and such.

Here is the link for the Zeal B6 photo before install.

I installed it last week. The overall impression is very nice. The Coil-Over has top-notch craftmanship. Good machining and nicely done weldment. Easy to install and to adjust.

The car feels so stable at high speed. The ride is nice with the damper setting at #1. It also feels more comfortable when compare to the stock R-1 Spring. I do not know the Stock R-1 Spring "spring-rate" but the Zeal B6 Street Spring "spring rate" is more comfortable when compare to the stock R-1. Of course everyone would see significant different when they compare the 12 years old stock shock and spring to a brand new high performance coil-over. Its worth the money to go for Coil-Over system as it gives you the whole package with adjustability of damper rate and height of the car.

By the way, I did not preload the spring because I like to have a nice ride on the street.

I got my JIC FLT-A2's for about $1600, and they're pretty good. They have good streetability, adjusability, and they also made the car handle like a bat outta hell.

Since most people are using JIC, I just want something different. The Endless "Zeal" name is so popular in Japan that it won't be wrong to get their product.

I personally would like to try on a FD with JIC suspension too so I can compare

The RSX owners seem pretty ticked about quality, and especially service.

I have zeal super functions on my 240 OMG that suspension is the sheezy!!!!!! got em for a deal though almost half off and they cost 2700.... but yeah the zeals are super nice the JIC's are aight but the people at JIC USA aren't very nice... (to put it in nice words) so I'm guessing a rebuild will be a hassle over there

Zeal Endless has division in USA. So rebuilding them is no problem. Not sure how much they cost. Anyone know?

FLTs here as well. Nothing but good to say about the product and my dealings with the guys at JIC.

I'm happy with my Zeals. I have the Function V6. The quality is excellent, better then the JIC's. I have about 2K miles on them and 3 track days, and haven't had a single problem so far.
