What do you use for brake fluid?
ATE Super Blue -- 90% of the performance of Motul 600 or Castrol, at 30-50% of the cost.
If you aren't tracking the car, just get a good DOT 4 fluid -- Valvoline, whatever.

Keep in mind that even if the car is just parked it still absorbs moisture so fluid flushes need to be on a time basis regardless of mileage.
Use Ford DOT 3 fluid. It's got a 550 degree boiling point, it's cheap and readily available. Easy decision! I use it and I've never had fade, even at the track. Many club racers use it. My dad's freind uses it in his BMW 2002 race car and reccomends it.

I used to use Motul 600, and it was great. The pedal was definitely firmer, but it was a pain to order. No local speed shops sell it here. I also had to worry about mechanics topping it off with "normal" brake fluid. You're not supposed to mix the two.
I now use the Valvoline stuff which feels just about as good and less than $10 worth will flush the whole system. Perfectly fine for the street.

i've got AP racing fluid in my car at the moment. It was actually what was in the car when i bought it. Racing Beat reccomends Ferodo brake fluid, and sells it for $16 for a half liter bottle. Anyone know if its good?
was going to use ATE super Blue but ht eplace i was gonna get it was out so i just stoped by the old uato parts store and picked up some valvaline sythenthetic DOT 3&4 fluid its number are almost as good as ATEs but its cheaper yet i think im just gonna stick with this fluid cause it has good numbers its cheap and easy to get
Castrol LMA is another good alternative. Cheap and while the dry temp aint the greatest (446), it doesn't absorb water as readily as the others, so you can leave it in a while and still feel safe. I'll use it in my Audi and Ford Exploder. I have run with it on the track in the FD, but I was running Hawk HPS pads and not being agressive on the braking.
Currently in the FD, I use Motul RB600 and change it twice a year (usually before track events). Track junkies who are harder on their brakes flush before every event.

I use it, and it's great!
