FC brakes question

I have a 89 vert that I am going to get new brakes for ( all new rotors & pads). I plan to get new Brembo Drilled Slotted Rotors off of ebay for around $200. I think I am going EBC Greenstuff Road/Sport disc brake pads. What do you guys think about EBC Greenstuff pads? When picking out pads Tire Rack shows front brake pads for models with solid rear rotors and ones with vented rear rotors. How can I tell the difference? This is what I am looking at http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/resul...rack&x=73&y=11 Which will fit my car?

The ones you are getting are vented. I have EBC Greenstuff pads right now, and like the fairly well, but there are better. What kind of driving do you do? If you aren't taking it to the track or doing very spirited driving with lots of hard braking thing EBC's should be fine, but they do tend to fade after repeated braking. Also, I personally wouldn't reccomend x-drilled rotors as they tend to crack more easily. If my memory is correct, most if not all brembos these days aren't actually cross drilled, but "dimpled". Instead of having a hole all the way through, they drill a dimple in the rotor to help with cooling, as well as making it look x-drilled.

The EBC Green work well for street and autox but you will make them go kaboom if you use them on a track. I nuked a set of them in 25 minutes at VIR and ended up with backing plates kissing my front rotors.
