I have only the stockers to compare them to, but my Axxis Ultimates grab nicely warm or cold and don't make any nose. They dust like a **** though.

If they *need* replacing, do it. Other than that if they aren't warped or getting thin (i think they use a micrometer to measure) then replacing just the pads is fine.

ebc green stuff is good too, does have a good amount of dust, but stoping power is great.... also does anyone know whats the ratio of the front to rear brakes i went to change my front they were gone, went to change the back, and had plenty of meat left//

The HP+ is a very sketchy pad to use at a track. Once it fades, it fades HARD. You go from great stopping power to almost nothing at all. For that reason alone, I stuck to Axxis Ultimates. Not to mention they're boatloads cheaper.

I'm on Carbotech AX6's right now, and they pretty awesome. They squeal under braking though, if that bothers you. I like to think of it as a pedestrian siren.

If I remember correctly its 70/30 . Changing the fronts more often then the rears is normal.

If anyone wants to get hardcore, a combination that I have come to that works awesome is Stoptech BBK with Hawk DTC-70 pads and Hawk HP plus in the rear with no ABS.

IMHO, there's really no such thing as a street pad that'll work on track (for very long). There are a few track pads that'll be livable by some definition on the street, mainly if you don't mind noise/dust/rapid wear.

N-Tech's lapping day come to mind.
