What did you expect, tire pressure depends on allot of different things, did you ever notice the guys taking track temperatures, watch how much fuel they put in the car, setup there suspension ? ? ? ? The tire pressure is checked and changed on a by the run basis till you get what works, all this is documented so you can look back at your setup and avoid having to relearn everything all over again, I can give you a number but you'll still have to experiment on your own and learn what works for your car. So now what would you like to hear. You question is very gereral and vague, I think my answer fits your question.

A good place to start is between 14-16 psi.

It'll get even more complicated, your tire pressure will also determine your launch rpm, vehicle weight will also figure in, you need to keep as many of the things you can constant. I.E. if you remove your spare and anything in your trunk, you need to do this always, as if you change things in the car you will need to play with your tire pressure to compensate, cool track, warm track, hot track all have different effects on the tires grip. If you decide a certian rpm is what you need to leave at , say to keep the car from bogging. You'll have to vary your tire pressure to say eliminate wheel hop. It will be a very interesting learning experiance (but quite fun) doing it as you'll then find yours, (and the cars) weakness's. Best of luck to you and most of enjoy.
