Coilovers? What else? 88 fc vert

I have a 88 vert which I am in the process of rebulding. I'm almost at the suspension step but I am unsure of what I want. I definetly want to autocross it , I like the adjustability of coil overs such as the ride hight but I can live without 14 different damper setting so maybe I dont need coilovers but just kyb agxs or something. Are coilovers really worth it ?If lets say I was going to do the spring and shock route what would be the best way ? What about bracing , are the front and rear strut bars worth it or are they placebo mods. Who makes the best sways and how big should I go? Undercar bracing?

Are you trying to stay within a certain class for autox? Or are you just doing it for fun?

coilovers are overkill in most applications, i'd say this is one of them. If you have a vert you already have some beefy sways. I've never though strut bars did a whole lot, but that's just my personal opinion

I don't think you can put a strut bar in the rear of a vert, or even if anyone makes one for them. I would say RB springs and HP blues for shocks for everyday driving and maybe some track time. Strut bar up front...dunno if it's really needed, cool looking though. If you were really tracking then I would.

I put a strut bar in my vert this tuesday and even on stock suspension I can feel a big difference when approaching corners.. As far as a rear strut bar I think it would have to be custom since we dont have the speaker pods in the rear of the car. which is where i beleive most fc bars mount to.. that and the interior panels..

as far as coilovers and stuff I have no idea.. I dont know how the rules for autoX go, or any of that..
