Tein Flex Coilover Install Question

Installing a slightly used set of Tein Flex on an FD. The stock suspension has a rubber mount at the top whereas as coilovers are just metal on metal. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Sorry if this is a rudimentary question; I did search extensively.
