Stretch recomendations for Drift on 8" wheels ( 17inch advan sienna 2's )

Hi guys,

This is for my Sileighty.

I have purchesed some wheels from japan.

Advan Sienna 2's.

The fronts i want massive stretch, i was told steering is more predictable and can control sliding motion better.
Car is for competition use only (drift, and only drift).

The wheels are 8" wide on the front and 8.5" wide on the rear.
17" advans got em cheap!! why not eh!

I was thinking what will be the best tyre combo all around?

I am leaning towards Goodyear Eagle F1's for the tread.

205/45/17 stretched on the 8" wheel.

What do you think? Or would a 225/45/17 have more grip and handle better?

I am only concernd for the front as i dont wanna go any wider then 235 on the rear on the 8.5" wheel.

Anyone have recomendations for some stretch let me know ASAP!

Thanks

With those wheel widths you won't acheive much stretch. How much power are you putting down?

We have RPS13 drift car also. For that width yes 205/45/17 front and the rear I can't recommend without knowing how much power you're putting down.

How much power you got? Are you clutch kicking all the time or have some good boost behind your throttle? Are you an "ebrake" guy?

Let me know. I'll help anyway I can.

Are you doing high speed drifting or more "parking lot" drifting. Flat surfaces and so forth?

I do flicks @ 120-140kmh in 3rd.
hardly use the handbrake unless i *** drag into a corner.
I have changed wheels and went for something better now.

10.5, -6 rear
9, +13 front
it allows me to use 235 on the front with stock guards (rolled to the ****)

rear is awsome..

i have 300PS at the flywheel, perfect.

that seems great, if you can stretch a 245/40 or 255/40 in the rear you're good to go. WOW, you were able to fit 9 +13 on stock front fenders. OMG that's sick. Can you post a pic. We did 20mm front fenders to pull that off.
