Well, it's finished, but the back is a little high so I gotta get that down. And I broke some wires on the front drivers side going to the back of the rotor, I'm assuming for the speedometer and/or odometer. Does anyone know how hard it is to fix that? I got the rear sway bar ground down enough to not hit the coilover, hopefully.

Those wires you broke are probably for the wheel speed sensor for the ABS. Those are the only wires I've ever seen going to the hub area. You should be able to solder the wires up and put some shrink tube on them to protect them.

^Oh OK cool, thanks. I was wondering if maybe I could just repair it instead of buying a new one. My ABS light is on of course.

So I have all four corners set on 8, and the ride feels pretty good. I expected it to be pretty rough with the spring rates but it's actually good. I'm still trying to get all the corners at the right height, so when I get all that done I'll start playing with the damper settings more and see what's what.

Add me to the list, I just put my order in yesterday and I'll be going to AutoRnD and having them installed next week. I went with a 10/10 springs rate as I hope to have a comfortable ride as my FD is just a daily driver. Hopefully these rates will be fine. I'm wondering if I should of went with a 12/10 spring rate though.

I talked to speedjunkie about his (12/10 spring rate) and he said he likes them so far but he still has some tuning to do. I'm pretty excited, I'll do a review when I get them on.

Talked to Rishie last week, the coilovers arrived in the US late last week, so shipping to California, they should be here by sometime this week. I'm guessing Friday. I will be bringing my car in whenever they arrive to get them on. Rishie is a busy man, so I'll keep you guys updated as much as I can if Rishie can't. I'll write a review when they are on too after using for a couple of weeks of use.

Spoke with Dana yesterday, and I believe he is ordering mine today. They should be in sometime next Thursday. As soon as they arrive I will be arranging a date to have them installed with some new tires.

Bad news for me. Rishie gave me a call today to let me know that the Stance coilovers will be avaliable, but since I want a difference spring rate, that the springs have to be shipped out so it will be another 3 weeks wait for me. I am going with a 10/10 spring rate instead of the default 12/12. I am fine with waiting 3 weeks as I rather wait that time and have a good ride than getting them now and having it too be too rough.

Just finished speaking with Dana and he had nothing but good news to tell me. I will be heading down to Auto RnD bright and early this Friday for install, and alignment. I cannot freaking wait.

Damn, I have to wait another 2 weeks for mine. I am using 10/10 spring rate for a better ride because I've heard 12/12 would be pretty stiff.

But the guys who has 12/12 just said the ride is really comfortable so I'm thinking my 10/10's are going to be perfect.

When I spoke with Dana, I told him what I was going to be using the car for and we decided with 12/12.

In a way it sucks you have to wait, but in the long run it will be worth it.

I live in San Jose so it's not a very far drive for me and I get out of school Thursday and I'd love to have a ride on the 12/12 spring rate. Let me know

I'm surprised that this company and coilovers have remained relatively quiet. Tough market for coilovers these days i guess...

I was on there site and saw they released a new line of coilovers. I dont know the difference between the different sets. I think it might have a progressive springrate.

Progressive? You mean a higher spring rate? Damn. I think these are pretty stiff as it is. Most of the time the ride is pretty good. I believe they are very well built. I haven't noticed much of a difference between the settings for damping, but cornering is amazing. Like I said before, I installed RB sway bars (f & r) and a Cusco strut bar up front with a Race Shop harness bar in the rear the same time I put the coilovers in, and now I have RE toe links and trailing arms too. I have yet to get suspension bushings though (still waiting on SuperPro!). So I'm not sure what to attribute the excellent handling to the most, but I do like these coilovers. There is a road near my house that's real shitty. It's one of those roads that looks like every piece grew, so that every 5 feet or so there is a part sticking up like it has a cable running under it. They SUCK on that road, bumpy as hell. But on most roads around here, even on some other bumps, they actually take it pretty well. So I'm not quite sure what to say. I'm sure with a lower spring rate (around 10f 8r) they'd be great like alot of others, but Rishie said you're not supposed to go any lower than 2kg on any of them. I think I'm running 12f 10r right now, that's what I asked for anyway. So there is a little more of a review for those of you that were asking. So to put it simply...

Taking corners (even with old tires)= GREAT
Regular bumps every now and then on otherwise normal road= pretty good
Taking a bump about every 5 feet= horrible

I attribute those problems to the springs of course. I wish these things could be valved for a softer spring setting and you could choose. This is my daily driver right now (I can't resist driving it every day ).

OC_: wow, i did not even know they had that new coilover set. doesn't seem to be much info on their site. i'm really interested to see some specs on those. i think i will e-mail them.

speedjunkie: thanks for the reply. sounds like you are liking them. of course it is expected to be harsh because of the spring rates, but some coilovers handle it better than others. the FC set comes with lower spring rates, but it might be hard to compare because of the different suspension geometry on the FD...

We have had very positive results thus far and have moved quite a few units.

I haven't had a chance to drive my GTUs as we've been prepping to relocate our facility. So i'm scrambling right now looking for buildings and so forth. We're expanding our services shortly here so buildings are tough to find.

yup, will do Rishie. i know Tony (silverrotor) had a good experience with you buying these coilovers.
i'm still trying to figure what i want for suspension, and the Stance is up near the top of the list.

You will definately not hear any complaints from me. I have the 12kg spring rates installed on my FD and I am very happy with them.

Coldfire: Well you can't beat them for price, and the ride is pretty good I suppose. I'm hoping to track this car sometime to get more use of the performance aspect of these. I rode in AntiVenom's FD with Tein Flex (10f 8r) and it was a really good ride. It was normal driving though, I've never riden with him on the track but he seemed to do well on Tail of the Dragon (kept up with a streetbike!). But I had heard Tein doesn't put out the same quality products for normal consumers as they do for race teams. Overall I'm pretty pleased.
