Sleepr1, or anyone else, help on rubbing issue!

I have been trying to figure what step to go after to solve my rubbing issues. Let me first give you the details on my car and problem..
93 r-1 with Eibach pro-kit, koni yellows (on highest perch) SSR Comps 17/8.5 front and 17/9.5 rear. 245/40 F, 265/40 R.
My problem is fender lip rubbing and inside fender liner rubbing. Really only on track driving or very aggresive street driving but only on the hard corners. Daily driving is no problem. So I am not sure what to go after first, differant springs? New sway bar and mounts? I can not imagine it is the wheels as I have the same set up (& off sets) that sleepr1 had or has.. I thought about trying the HR springs but since they lower car .25 more than the Eibachs that might cause more rubbing. Any help out there??

You need a stiffer anti-roll bar up front. Also, those were Manny's track wheels so he had race rubber on them (may be sized differently?). I'm sure he'll post about it.

As far as the H&R springs being lower, perhaps they are stiffer as well?

Skate, rynberg is right. I had 245/45-17 front and 275/40-17 rear Hoosier R3S03s on the Comps. They are 10 and 11 wides, respectively, and 25.3 inches tall. Never had rubbing problems with them on the track, or occasional street (during the times when I was too lazy to swap them out). rynberg is also correct in that sway bars help tremendously in reducing chassis roll through the turns @ 1 G. I have Eibach Competition sway bars front rear with Tri Point front sway bar mount reinforcers. H&Rs are progressively rated springs--the more the spring the compresses, the stiffer the spring rate. I agree with rynberg's suggestion of upgrading sway bars, except I would do both fr/rr, plus front sway bar mount reinforcers (mandatory for track driving). If the rears are adjustable, use the stiffest setting to dial in more oversteer (since you're running a staggered fitment--wider in back--which dials in more understeer). This should solve the excessive roll, and thus (hopefully) the rubbing issues.

Thanks guys! I am going to take that advice and get new sway bars and mounts. Now, what brand? Who has the best product for the best price? What mounts due I want? Sounded like the Eibach sway bars Jason has on his site come with mounts?? Price also seems pretty good?

If I have rubbing after the bars I will try the the H&R springs. Thanks....

I will not be on the track but 2 times a year but I do not mind having a very stiff ride. Just want the rubbing gone and at the same time keep the low ride height..
