Shocks + Springs or Coilovers?

Quick question. I am looking to buy some suspension upgrades for my car. Right now I am mostly leaning towards the KYB AGX adjustable shocks with the Racing Beat lowering springs. For the set I’m looking at about $600-700. My question is are there any coilovers with comparable performance for that same price? The car is my daily that I track occasionally.

Honestly I'm a buy once, cry once type of guy when it comes to this as I hate spending money after the fact. I'd look at Fortune Auto Coilovers and tailor them to your specifications. As far as that price range ($600-700) goes for coilovers, Tein makes a few sets right around there that provides "decent" specs/performance.

Consider Ground Control. Probably a bit higher than your budget. But you can spec out your choice of Eibach springs that you can easily change for track/street. They’re height adjustable for corner weighting and work with a variety of shocks.
