springs or coilovers?

i dont know what to choose from, springs with shocks setup or just basic coilovers? which is a better setup? i have a 1988 GXL N/A

Depends on what you're doing, if it's just a daily driver on the streets springs with shocks are fine. Even if it's occasional track duty it's fine with just springs/shocks. If it's going to be used alot for track/drift/w/e. Than coilovers are the way to go.

thanks a lot, a buddy of mines said ground control coilovers with tokico illumi? is that how u spell, or koni yellows is a nice set up

What are your intentions with the car? Theres many options to choose from depending on your intentions. We're not sure if your car is going to be an all out racer or if your car is purely a street driven car.
