Searched still cant bleed brakes.
Searched still cant bleed brakes.
My car has been down for a while and pulled the ABS off and followed Damiens write up on removing it and going non-ABS. Now i cant get the rear brakes bled. I have bench bled the master and it works fine, but when i start on the RR caliper i just get 99% air and a sputtering of fluid. I have done it both ways with the mytevac and with someone in the car pumping the brakes. I even unloosened the bleeder and let my friend pump the brakes with my finger over the hole and i could fell a small pressure pulse but still barely any fluid.
So next i went to the rear brake line T and disconnected the input line from the front and put my hand pump on it and it bleed exactly like it should a few pumps and the air is gone and a rush of pure fluid into the reservoir. So then i went to the output of the T to the RR caliper. I unscrewed the hard line and replaced an adapter and clear hose to my hand pump. Again a few pumps to get the air out and nothing but pure fluid. So i reconnect the lines and go back to the bleeder on the caliper and again it's 99% air and a sputtering of fluid. I have set there for 15 minutes doing these hoping that maybe there is just alot of air in the lines but it never clears up. Also I cant find any leaks anywhere and the lines from the T to the caliper look fine but that is obviously where the problem is coming from. Anyone have any advise?

Crack the line, get a big bottle of brake fluid and have someone constantly be pouring it in the reservoir while another person constantly pumps the brakes while another person sits at the line and waits for pure fluid to just come out. Just make sure the reservoir always has fluid in it while you are pumping away.
If that method does not work then there is definitely something wrong with the car.
