I guess I should Tell the 2009 street series AWD class time attack champs that they should just sell their car too. Dude, Give it a rest. I've seen factory wheels fail and break apart. I guess when you buy a brand new car you should hurry and get them off and run out and buy a set of volks too right!?

I guess people on this forum aren't entitled to opinions? Sounds pretty bad. First off, factory wheels are rarely forged, only RECENTLY have they been forged.
Most cars in the 90s were just steelies with hubcaps unless you were spending 20k+, they still do this nowadays, but safety standards are higher now. Rota wheels, and fake wheels in general ARE DANGEROUS. PERIOD. They are CAST, which is a the WEAKEST process for making wheels.
Just because people use them to win stuff still doesn't mean they're any safer than forged / steelies.
And lastly, I didn't say that about going and buying a brand new car and buying new wheels off the bat, I said, if you're gonna take a nice car like an rx7 and put fake wheels on it, you're putting yourself in more danger than if you would have just left the factory mags on.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion but, to say that putting a set of rotas on an rx would be like taking a **** in it is more than an opinion. I try to remain neutral when it comes to what people put on there cars, cause if it's not my car why should I care. If you ask me how your car looks and you want an honest answer I'll give you one but, if it's not my style or I have nothing nice to say then I would just express how I would've modded it. I understand that some people don't come from money or have obligations which hinder them from getting high end wheels. Should they squash thier thoughts of having a nicely modded rx or other vehicle? I'm sure there are tons of people that would pick up a set of rotas but, are afraid of getting flamed by someone who has an "OPINION".
