Unhappy Rays/Volk Racing torque spec??????

Does anyone know the torque spec for nuts and bolts that goes around the Volk GT series rims. I just had the center powder coated and the lips refinsh. Now I need to put it all back together.

Thanks in advance, Jay

If it was me, I'd ask Volk for help with that...

They don't give out that kind of info.

why would Volk/Rays have different torque settings? it's the threads that are being torqued not the wheel. I use 75-80 lbs-ft. some autox buddies go as high as 100 but i figure repeated removal of the rims will stretch the threads (i'm too lazy to replace the lugs)

Did you know that because you asked, or are you assuming that they just won't tell you? What makes you think that anyone here is going to know what torque values Volk specs for those fasteners?

As a fallback, you could try looking for a torque chart for fasteners of a similar size & construction-- some type of reference guide might have it. Another possibility is asking a shop that repairs wheels.

He's asking about putting the wheel itself back together, not mounting the wheel to the hub.

whoops...my bad. *note to self: learn to read*

I guess one can google search other brand's recommedations. Given similar material ?T6061? I would imagine torque range to be the same. Search for Kodiak, Keizler, CCW, Superlight, etc.

I tried to Google: Volk/ Rays wheel construction, and fasteners and came back empty. The wheels were disassemble to repair some road rashes. I talked to some one at Mackin, but they said that they do not have torque specs.
I thought maybe someone might have done something simular before..?
