need to replace my brake pads .. any suggestions? get some from mazda dealership? or should i go get one at one of those pep boys type stores?

If they are for the street hawk hps pads are good, I am about to get a set myself. Mazda pads are too expensive.

not sure, but they wont be cheap....thats for sure. I'm getting a set of the hawk hp plus myself also.

I have those bonez stage 1 brake pads. There pretty good too I think.

Hawk HPS pads are great for street use and are dirt cheap from the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com , in case you don't know about it). I would recommend the HP+ for occasional track use if you can stand the slightly increased dust, noise, and rotor wear.

The thing thats good about the bonez ones are that they dont make to much noise and theres not that much dust put out to by them. There a good street/track pad.

I have had rgeat results with the Carbotech pads - low dusting, great bite and low noise. They have a new compound out, Bobcat, that I cant wait to try
