Quick ? about tires...

I'm putting a set of S5 TII rims on my car soon (16x7's) and I'm curious how wide of a tire I can fit in the front w/o rubbing.

As of right now I have...

245/45/ZR16's in the back
245/50/R16's in the front

The rear tires are brand new and I'm hoping to put the same tires on the front. I'm just worried that these might rub.

Those tires are too wide for the rim widths.
You're degrading cornering performance.

Good to know. What tire size do you recomend for stock 16x7 rims?

Should I be worried about just driving on them on the street?
