Pics of my new 18" Ab-flug wheels

I just bought Johgar's(aka: Daniel) rims through a post on the forum.

Here are some
more pics of my new wheels along with my old set-up of 17" Kosei/Seneca S5R's.

What do you guys think...

Look great! I always like the simple yet great style of a 5 spoke wheel.

They look very nice. I like the concealed lugs look and the classic 5-spoke with deep dish styling. Did you weigh them before mounting them?

The only problem is the 18s make your stock brakes look tiny. Of course, there are ways to solve that problem....

Thanks guys.

Rynberg, I did weigh them on the bathroom scale. The rears are 50 lbs and the fronts are 48 lbs. I know it's pretty heavy, but they weighed exactly the same as the my old 17" wheels and tires. So at least I didn't add even more weight than the 17"s.

I would've preffered to go with a lighter set of wheels, of course. But the price of these wheels/tires was right and I couldn't find a "cleaner" looking five spoke design with a fat polished lip.

Damn, those look so sweet. I don't think Ab Flug even makes those rims still...

They must have cost an arm and a leg brand new.

Thanks Guys. I can't stop admiring them myself... I have one of those pictures as my PC desktop.

Rx7aholic, I bought them used from Johgar for 1730.00 shipped via FedEx Ground C.O.D. I was talking with Rishie(ARD T2) about buying some wheels and tires from him. He had some really good deals, but I couldn't resist these clean "5 spoke" wheels. Even my old set of 17" are "5 spoke" wheels.

Rx187, My car is lowered. I have Eibach's and Tokiko's. The car looks like it's riding a bit "high" in the picture of the left side. That's because the street/curb "leans" to the right a bit. I think it's higher in the center for drainage purposes.

Now, that you mention it, my brake rotors "do" look tiny. I'm gonna have to go the local "ricer shop" and remedy this situation...with some "simulated" cross drilled rotors!!! Woo-Hoo!

LOL! J/k! pics courtesy of riceboypage.com
