What do you think about the offset, I don't want to roll my fenders, and don't think I will have to, but maybe + 15 to + 20????

So your suggesting 15x9, thats also what I am thinking as ideal, though with the low pressures that drag radials run, I'm not sure that the contact patch would be any smaller with a 15x9 then with a 15x8.

 

I don't think you will be able to fit a 275 race tire under the stock fender without rolling it.

I think +30 would be your best bet for clearing the fender, but it will still probably rub IMHO...

 

my street tires are 255 on +30 8 inch rims (yes I know this is the smallest rim recomended by the tire manufacturer), I have at least 1" of clearence on the inside. I guess the best way to do it is just take the shock out and move the wheel through the entire range of motion with the prospective tires dimentions in mind.

I think I could probably go +35. At least with drag radials you can size them to a much smaller wheel without loosing contact patch due to the low pressures, this shoud reduce the section width at the top of the tire.

 

17x7 +42 all around..will it work with no problem or will i need to mod stuff

Im going to put some new tires on soon. I bought some S5 TII rims a while back for cheap. They came with 225/50/16 Yoko AVS es100 and I plan on using the same type of tire.

My Fc has tokico hp with tein s-tech. So Im concered with rubbing of the front. As my stock NA rims with 205 are already cutting it kinda close.

So I was wondering how big of a spacer should i run just to be sure. I was thinking 10mm But im unsure if that would be enough.

NOpe just tried it. Its defintely rubbing see I have pics. And I tried driving it for like a block defintely smelling burning rubber and as i turned i could here it hit the strut.

wow, thats interesting. probably a 3-5mm spacer should do you fine. bigger than that and you'll probably need longer studs.

 

where can i get a spacer of that size all i can find is 10mm or bigger

 

You can get some 1/4" spacers. Be sure that you can still get the nuts on enough for it to be safe though.

 

where is a good place i can get 1/4 spacers from online. I've seen kics spacers that have the studs on them but the smallest they have is 15mm

For all the gurus out there here is my question......... Would I need to run a +15mm, +25mm or +35mm on a 18 x 9.5 rim in the rear with a 265/35R18 that has an over all width of 10.7"? I have Tein type Flex but stock quarter panels.
The only other concern is would I be able to still tuck the rear tires on this set up because I was able to on my 18x8.5 (can’t remember the offset) with 255/35?

probably +35 will fit under stock fenders... I think it will just barely clear the suspension as well.

i'm in the process of buying some wheels that are 17x7 with an offset of +40 5x114.3. would these fit on my FC with stock suspension with no problem? And what size tires should u reccomend? thanx in advance

 

with the 9.5, I'd use a +25 offset.

why would you want them so close to your strut? With something of a 7 size, I'd do +25 or +30 at the maximum.

 

I'm running 18X9.5 +35 offset wrapped in a 265/35/18 BFG KDW and theres no rubbing on the inside suspension parts (Didn't rub with stock suspension OR TEIN Flex coilover now). Theres not much room on the inside or fender well, can't imagine trying to run something bigger or with less offset unless you want to roll them fenders.

tryin to get away with a 18x9.5 with a +20 offset in the rear

anyclue on to how much wider do most wide rear quarter pannel kits offer? 30mm - 50mm? i know i could get away with a +35 but im lookin to fill in the most gap and still provide the most tire to wrap around the wheel.

as far as the fronts. 18x8.5 +25 would suffice? what could i get away with nearly 3 inches of more space up front as far as width and offset? id prefer to keep the track neutral between front and rear if not pretty close..and still have a optimal turn in.

No problem, as long as you keep tire rolling diameters close to stock.
