Alright, here goes my first post.
I've been trying to research this for a while now.
I want to put these wide fenders on my 91 vert. What i would like to know, is what size wheels to get to fill these out. I still want to be able to lower the car some for track purposes, but i'm thinking 17s or 18s. How wide and what offsets should i look at?

Alot of great info in here. Looking at picking up some rims for a steal and I may have missed it as I was skimming the pages but I needed an urgent answer.
Would this fit stock body and on coilovers?
Front: 17x7 +35 (215/40/17)
Rear: 17x9 +22 (245/40/17)
Thanks in advance

these are 30mm fenders front and back. front is 17x9 with corrected -5 on 235/40/17. the rear is 18x10 with corrected -2 on 255/40/18. i can either run more camber in front or simply go to a 225 or 215. havent descided yet.

+42 8" front and +40 9" rear will fit with 10mm spacers on each end, right?
I've got some Prodrive rims I am gonna send home if I can't get a job here...

...wait, are your wheel sizes 9.75 inches or 9 inches with a 75mm offset? The latter... wouldn't work, obviously.. What are your offsets?

...even if you could go lower with your coilovers, you're going to run out of stroke room if you don't remove the fender liner and fold or grind the frame's lip... and even if you do, you will have to double your spring rate to keep it from bottoming out.

Yeah don't worry, i already rolled the fenders and took out the fender liner. There is plenty of room. I will eventually just have to get some other coilovers (Iv'e been looking at some Powered by Max), but that is in the future. Maybe i'll just rebuild these (Megan Track Coilovers).
I just wish I had stretched them some more in the front, but whatever, i'm happy with this first attempt on fitment.

Ugh I hate to ask this but I've searched a bunch and can't find it..
I'm planning on machining my hubs to 5x120 to fit some BMW e38 BBS wheels.
They are 16x8 ET 23, 225/50 tires all around. I figure I'll be ok in the back, but I'm worried about the front. Anybody know if that will be an issue? I'll be using stockish suspension as well.

Nevermind that machining nonsense, I can't edit the post. My only option i guess would be adding spacer/adapters but that adds another inch and I'm sure that won't work.

ok so im ordering some new wheels, im looking at 17x9.5 for the rear and 17x8 or 8.5 for the front the off sets available for the rear are et 12,20 and the front is et 30.
i also found a set of 18x10 and 18x8.5 with rear ets of 20,15,35 and front of et 20,30,35,44... any of those set ups work on a fc with stock(for now) suspension and rolled fenders?
