If you do, rolling the fender is not that big of a deal.

13mm is just 1/2"
That's not that bad.

Thats true, 13mm or 1/2" isn't to much.... plus if you any NEG camber that will tip the top of the tire/wheel inwards...

I know that RETed said these will fit, and maybe my question has been answered somewhere else in this thread, but will these fit if you have the car lowered at all, like with the Racing Beat suspension kit?

Yes, these will work with just bout any application an FC providing tyre size

Ok, thanks... I just wasn't sure if lowering the car (RB claims an inch drop) would make the tires more likely to rub on the fender.

How bad will these rub? I have Tein HE's if that helps on the suspension side.

One Eyed Jack is selling some FN01R-Cs that are 17x10+12 F and 17x10+25 rear. I was wondering what tires could possibly fit. I will roll the fenders at both ends, or even get 30mm over fenders. I was thinking either 245s or 255s in the front and 275s for the rear wheels.

Won't work at all on the front... the wheels alone will stick out 66MM from the stock location and push towards the springs by 10mm... even with 30mm overfenders.. you'll still be past the edge..

in the rear... it will clear the inner suspension, but is going to extend out by about 50mm... (past the fenders)

you could make those fit in front with a thin spacer and Mariah front full fenders or the front fenders from raceonusa (tripoint repica). the rears will fit with a lot of rolling or some flares/fender work out back. ***this is ONLY if you have coilovers F&R***

I wish I had the $ to buy those, they are close enough to work with a little effort. that sa sick price on four 17x10's!

BlackFC ran 17x10 +25 out back with cvoilovers and a 275 wide tire, minimal rolling required.

I run a 17x8 up front with a +35 offset and 235 wide tire, but this just touches the strut-body-height perch (Tein Flex), so I need to move it out about 5mm. A 17x10 +35 would add another inch inward (and also an inch outward) so there is no way a 10'' wide +35 would fit. But a 17x10 +12 would push it outward the inch to keep it from the strut and should fit ok inside the wheel well. Now, this 10'' wide +12 will stick out 2 inches from the stock fender, I dunno how you will get a fender over that unless you run the tripoint replica front fender or some 30mm wider fenders and also run the Panspeed/Corksport overfenmder flares, or run the Mariah front fenders (which might be a tight fit, only alowing a 255 tire, kind of a waste of a 10 inch wide wheel...soloIIdrift runs a 255 up front on a 9''' wheel under the Mariah fenders)

so, yeah they would clear most coilovers running them as 17x10+12 front and 17x10+25 out back but the front might rub the strut depending on if it has a separate body height adjustment like Tein Flex/Silkroads/Zeal S6/etc.

Ok plain and simple....Im a lazy bastard to read all 30+ pages and to do a search. I just got rid of my RPO1s 17x8 38 front, it had on 225 rubber. My question is on my next wheel what off set would I need for a 235 tire with possibly going to 8.5 wide with coilovers?
For the rear I was looking at 18x9.5 w/ 275 rubber, what offset is needed for this?
I do NOT want to roll any fenders or flares, I would love to keep the flush look.
Thanks in advance.

Got the Wheels on today:

Shuk BS1 17X7.5 +38 in the front with Kuhmo ecsta MX 215/45/17.. Fit EXACTLY like stock, but the tread is akmost an inch wider (no sidewall buldge)

Rears are BS1's 17X8.5 +40... with ecsta MX 245/45/17's I'll havge to take some better pics cause they look much cooler than this, I love the bigger meat on the rears!!

Here'sa a shot of the clearance to the trailing arm.. a bit over 10mm

I could have gone with a 33mm offset on the rears and possibly been able to run 255's, but these will JUST barely clear the fenders without rolling them as they sit and thats kosher with me!!!

One problem... the front center caps wont fit over the wheel bearing caps... anybody run into this and what did you do?????

OK this is kind of wierd but what do you think about a setup of (F) 30mm x 7.5 (R) 40mm x 8.5? Any advice would be great.

if you put a 245 tire on the rear it will work there...

on the fronts... you'll be 8mm outward of my car... BUT, you'll have 8mm more to play with on the insides.. assuming you run 8.7 section width tires... it should work... BARELY.... might stick out a couple of MM.... mine are a few mm inboard of the outer edge of the front fender fender (3 or 4)

Well by comparison, I have 17 x 9.5 +38mm rear running a 275-40.

215/45, 235/45 are whats on the wheels now. Id hate for it to stick out more in the front then the rear...That would look a little strange lol

Dude... how freakin close is that tire to the freakin swing arm???????

My tires are 9.7 inches in width ....... those average around 10.7

I got about 12 MM between the swingarm and the tire.. you got a 2 more mm of clearance on the wheel... thats like 14 mm...

one inch wider equals 1/2 inch per side... = 13MM per side.... that should leave like a millimeter or two on the inside.........????????

I'm not doubting you got it on there.... i'm just wondering if you can slip a piece of paper between the tire and the swing arm......... :O

I can fit 5 pieces of paper ... Really though, it fits good. I do run a 2mm spacer ( by choice) as its not needed. So this should be on the "max" rear width per offset and tyre list

Now you see why I cringe at his numbers?
I've seen a 10.5" wide +9 with a 295 wide tire, and there was maybe another 5mm of clearance!
So, a 10.5" wide +15 is a guideline I keep in mind for the rears.

Interpolate that for raising arizona's wheels, and his should not work.

Depends on the tire and shocks...

I agreed with TED... Its CLOSE, but should work...

With a Kuhmo MX 255/40 or 255/45 on the rear it will work.. the 40's will be closer to the stock speedo, the 45's will give just a bit more clearance but are bigger around and throw the speedo off.. (245's are not reccomended for a 9.5 inche wheel by most manufacturers, or i'ds suggest those). Tis going to be TIGHT though... you'll have less than 10MM to the swingwarm, and may have to roll your fender lips.

Fronts 215 40 17 will give the best fit. 225/45 17's will work as well, but will be 4 mm closer to the springs, but should work (they will be REAL close to illegal by poking outside the fender as well)

I give the specs for the Kuhmo MX's because I've put several sets on peoples cars and they ALWAYS have the predicted tire section widths.. Keep your section witdh BELOW 9 inches on the front and 10.5 on the rear, and you should be good ta go.

Ohhh.. one more thing..

on the FRONTS... its the STRUTS that are the problem on the inside... so, running coilovers can give you some room.. depending on the coilover, up to half an inch...

in the REAR... its the trailing arm that gives you issues on the inside... running coilovers on the rear is NOT going to do anything to help inside clearance... I damn near screwed up when i got my tires by measuring to the strut perch.... that would have been disasterous because the swingarm is MUCH closer to the wheel than the spring perch on the strut!!!!!!!!! So don't think that by running coilovers you can go GONZO big on the rears, you still have to deal with the trailing arm, and the MAX i would go inward of a stock TII fitment is about 22MM or so.. (as per the TIRE sidewall position)
