Hey guys I went thru this thread for a while and finally have found the wheels, size and offset that I want thanks to rx7 se, but have a few questions I plan to go with 5zigen fn01R-C 17x8+35 in the front and 17x10+25 I would like to use Toyo RA1s for tires was looking to run 275 40 17 in the rear but would like to know if it'll hit on the inside I know that the fenders will have to be slightly rolled but will I have to add spacers? I dont run coilovers. Also, can I run a different aspect ratio up front I'd like a bit of a larger sidewalk up there like a 235 45 17? I'm not too concerned if the speedo would be off but would it cause any other Ill effects? Or should I just stick with the same all around. Thanks
James

hey guys just wondering what tire sizes to go with a set of 17x9+20 17x10+19 wheels. I am trying to go with max grip while staying under the fenders. The car is on lowering springs

have you seen this? http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm
That says 8" front should be ok with +30, just need to be careful about your tyre choice.

Flip them, put the +25 in the front and put the +30 in the rear. You must have coilovers to use these wheels without spacers up front. They will be very close to the springs on the coilover so make sure those wheel bearings are nice and tight.
Fronts will need a 15mm spacer, may have to roll the inner lip up if you decide to run 255's or 245's.
Rears should fit fine without a spacer, if it doesn't suit your tastes when you mount them on the car, use a 5-10 mm spacer.
Are you also on coilovers?
Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out a couple of different sizes I could do. I can't decide yet. With the +25 in the front and the +30 in the rear which would have more concave?

Jason,
I have same coilovers, so you should be good with 15mm spacers up front. If you're running 245 or 255's, you'll have to roll and maybe flare the fender a bit. For the rears, Blue TII is running 275/40/17 on 17x9.5 +40's in the rear with only a roll (no flare), just to give you an idea.

Am doubting there will be any problem, but can someone just confirm this. I currently have the following:
FD stock rims - 16x8 +50mm offset, 225/50R16 tyres and a 20mm spacers on the front
New potential setup:
BBS rims - 16x7.5 +35mm offset 225/50R16 tyres (and the 20mm spacers on front if needed)
Those should fit ok, right?

Finally decided on wheels! What would I have to do to get 18x10 +25's to fit all around. I'll roll/pull whatever, but I don't want to run overs in the back, don't care about the front though.

this sucks
Man i just got my rims and they are 4x100, the tire place i called told me my bolt patern was 4x100 but its really 4x114.3. do you think that spacers from 114.3 to 4x100 is to gettho if they even make them?
This sucks the rims are new and my friend that gave them to me will not take them back
