Front, +28 at the most (if you want a more "flush" look, use a lower offset)
Rear, +35 at the most (slight chance of rubbing tire on the muffler shield under hard cornering)

Offsets should be the same as what I recommended above.

If some of you guys are like me, you want to know how to stretch a bicycle tire over a rim, well I don't know if any one has posted this before but someone made a website that shows you ever stretch that will work on and size tire. for the rear, i recommend AIT B-Magic fenders. They have wayyy better lines than most cheap overfenders (origin 50mm or whatever), and you can flex them quite a bit to get good fitment (mount wheel/tire, jack them up into the wheelwell a bit, push on fenders until they're herrafrush, then drill holes).

i'm thinking with -7, 255 is probably as wide as you could go on them. maybe 275's if you fit the fender right.

265's, 1.5* camber (at normal ride height), offset is at like +3 i think. tire is jacked up into the car obviously.
when i mounted the fenders i pushed them in a little bit to fit my slicks well, so they would naturally sit a little bit wider.



would i be able to clear a 17x10 20mm with these overfenders. what did you use to mount them?

you can run 315's with that setup (assuming you're talking about rear fenders). my fenders are just rivetted on. i care not about moulding them in or whatever


yah stock studs are best. you dont want longer studs with bolt on spacers..

I was more referring to the length. I like would the stocks stick out and hit the wheel or something? Maybe I'm over thinking.

Ok thank you and the thing is the rims I want come in as
18x8.5 with +32
18x9.5 with +38.

Will these rims clear the suspension parts as well as the fender, ofcourse with the lip been rolled. Would I have to do more to make them fit?
Also, would it be better to get them as
18x8.5 with +25
18x9.5 with +30
and use spacers to make them fit?
What would be the best choice.

The set with +25 and +30 would be my choice. You could probably get away without a spacer, and if you need it, use a small spacer to adjust to your liking. You should be able to run the tire sizes you mentioned no problem.

I just got these 16x8 for rx, what tires should i get for these i looked and eveyone is running 17 and 18.

The guy that sold me the rims has some 205/40/16 but i think those might be to small

I will drop the car in a few months

225/45/16, 225/50/16, and 245/45/16 would be the other sizes you could run.

Offset to run 245 or 225 up front would have to be at most +35 if you have stock style springs.

Yeah it had coilovers, the wheels are 17x9 +24

I'm running 18x8.5 +38 225/40 up front and 18x9.5 +35 255/35 out back. i havent had any clearence issues with a modest drop but i did have to cut out a bit of the muffler heat shield to clear the rear tire... i looked into 275's but they would require some serious fender rolling and even a 35 series is pretty tall in my oppinion

Ok..I think I have asked a few times in this thread already but I think I made a pretty solid decision as long as it works

17x9 +15 225/45/17 up front
17x10 +25 245/45/17 rear

wheels are 5zigen fno1rc

assuming rolled fenders are a must..also I am on Stance GR+..would adjust accordingly to make wheels fit.

Hey guys I have a chance at a set of 17 inch 09 or 2010 v6 mustang wheels. For real cheap. But I don't know if they will fit 100% does anyone have any info on these wheels?

Whats the offset, I'm running a 15x8 -25 on my rear and it needs a fender roll I'm pretty sure that the mustang wheels will fit just fine on the outer part but I don't know if you'll clear stock springs in the front but a spacer will fix that.

Ok we all know that 0 offset on a 8 inch wheel is flush, so adding an inch to the wheel to make it a 9in wheel means that in order to keep the wheel flush with the fender you would need an offset of anything close to +25.

I'm going to go ahead and say they fit to save time, but you may or may not have trouble with clearing the stock spring in the front. and my goodness please don't put and tire on there bigger that a 50 to be honest I would put a 195/50 or 205/50 on there just to shape to the fender in case you roll it.

Could be wrong these guys in here know there stuff your bound to get a better opinion.

9" +12.5 would put the lip in the same location as an 8" +0 wheel. offset is distance from center to hub surface, so an inch wider wheel is only half inch wider on either side.

Ok I am looking at getting the new xxr 527's that came out this month but they only come in a 16x8.25 et0 (4.6 inch back spacing) I would like to step down to 16's. But would the 17x8.25. Et 25 fit better? I have coils and front and rear camber adjusters also
