Personally, I'd got 17" looks better. Go wider than 7" (Stock Vert wheels are 16x7 +45) since these are high quality wheels, might as well go ***** out. I'd say 17x9 +25 all around. But that's just me.
Wheels gap is eliminated by suspension. The ride height will only be lowered with springs or coilovers. If you have the money for volks, you have the money for coilovers. I'd do suspension first, but that's just me.

i have full d2 coilovers, and camber plates,so i guess wheel gap was not my main concern.sorry for the confusion. i just want more rim, less tire, and i want it to be flush with my fender. with stock finders and suspension adjusted acordingly do you guys think that that size rim with a 225 55 17 would work.

17x9 +17 all around? I know the fronts would require over fenders. But what if I put like 225's and put camber. How much camber tho? I know the rears I would have to slightly pull and it would give me a nice flush correct? Or just put camber?? 255s?

got a couple wheels in mind too lazy to search the 144 pages of this thread to find out... long week at work been working 12 hours everyday for 12 straight days
1. 17x8 front 17x9 rear both 35+
2. 17x7 front 17x9 rear 38+/35+
3. 16x8 0+
i have a small drop but there is still some fender gap and i can roll the fenders if i need to, thanks guys

1) will fit you the most amunt of tire
3) will be the most 'flush'

What wasn't working.
You prob. need a spacer to clear the coilover.
I think OEM 17' Z33 wheels are 17x8.5? +30ish.
PM Ilia. he ran 350Z wheels in front with a +15/+25 spacer

the +17mm is going to clear the suspension. He said 5mm spacer for the 27 so i'm assuming it would but i'm guessing its going to stick out of the fenders. so just put some camber on that B****

Yes, I need boost
ive browsed atleast 30-40 pages worth and i cant tell clearly if the size im about to buy will clear right.
im looking at a set of 16x7 +40offset, anyone know how those will clear an 88 GTU?
if not those, my back ups were a set of 16x7 +35 offset.
HELP!?
