Wheels gap is eliminated by suspension. The ride height will only be lowered with springs or coilovers. If you have the money for volks, you have the money for coilovers. I'd do suspension first, but that's just me.
i have full d2 coilovers, and camber plates,so i guess wheel gap was not my main concern.sorry for the confusion. i just want more rim, less tire, and i want it to be flush with my fender. with stock finders and suspension adjusted acordingly do you guys think that that size rim with a 225 55 17 would work.

It would work, but it wouldn't be very low. I lowered my FC 4" all around and I have a 1/2"~ from the top of the fender to the tire

17x9 +17 all around? I know the fronts would require over fenders. But what if I put like 225's and put camber. How much camber tho? I know the rears I would have to slightly pull and it would give me a nice flush correct? Or just put camber?? 255s?

i dont know what your question is, they all fit.
1) will fit you the most amunt of tire
3) will be the most 'flush'

How would 17x7.5 +45's fit on a stock lowered car?
and a 17x7.0 +40

which would fit better, Btw i have ground control coilover kit springs.

17x7.5 +45 won't fit at all(without a spacer), 17x7 +40 would fit. Why do you want fwd wheels? Go with atleast 17x8 +30 all around, you'll be much happier.

What wasn't working.

You prob. need a spacer to clear the coilover.

I think OEM 17' Z33 wheels are 17x8.5? +30ish.

PM Ilia. he ran 350Z wheels in front with a +15/+25 spacer

18x8F +29 225/40
18x9R +9 225/40

Will the rears work with a pull? I'm going to experiment

You would need atleast a 5mm spacer up front, and maybe a roll.

Rears will be fine.

the +17mm is going to clear the suspension. He said 5mm spacer for the 27 so i'm assuming it would but i'm guessing its going to stick out of the fenders. so just put some camber on that B****

Rear need roll. Slight pull, But retains rear 1/4 panel shape.

Just run some more camber.

I'm running 18x10 +10 with 235s, and i'm tucking stock metal with
no ugly pull
