Will 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back fit with +47mm offset all around?

holy ****! that looks awesome.. what tyres are those? ... that looks even more stretched than my stupid 215/40s on a 18x10.. how big are the overfenders... i was running 18x10 -1 with stock flared guards and 225s.. suprised at how far out those look for -4? ....

is this a new car unicorn? or just the white one painted black?

i just got some 3 peice work intensive 18x10.5 +26.. but I think they were changed in japan.. as they stick out of the guard like 3 inches.. going to get tyres and fit them up tomorrow.. hopefully with some stretchage and some camber they'll fit...

haruguchi.. back in the day.. 18x11s on flared rear funders and 17x9.5 up front..

(pic shamelessly stolen from ziptied)

with 235s on the back and 215s up front..

i also just got a set of steering knuckles from haruguchi.. and running 17x9 -7 with 215/45s up front on metal guards my wheels only just clear the chasis at full lock (i also have supernow rack spacers)... they also slightly hit my sideskirt as i start turning... so just had to trim that down with a grinder...

those are 215/35 FK451. I not sure if they're seating fully on the wheel, so I'm shooting for some 235/30's next time I get paid... lol. the fender is actually sitting in between the lip of the wheel, and the edge of the tire.

I may be wrong on the offset. the wheels are +11, I thought I had a 15mm spacer on, but I'm thinking they might be a little bigger than that... maybe 20mm, so could be up to about -9 offset ? I dunno.

I need to figure out something to do though because they rub unbelieveably bad on the inside when turning... my old 9.5's up front would turn untill they hit the control arm, but the same tires on a 10J are rubbing so bad the wheels won't turn more than like 20 degrees.... ****... maybe the 235/30 being lower will help a little bit. hahaha.

rears are 18x11.5 +-0 with 255/35, maybe will run 265's. on 30mm bmagic fenders.

and yeah, new car.

I had 18x10 +8 on the front of my car for a short while..

they were managable on the street.. , but I couldnt get to full lock even with just supernow rack spacers.. I wouldnt have a chance now with the aftermarket knuckles aswell...

so spewing i sold those wheels .. AVS model 6s are hot...

Can someone please confirm I've got this straight? I think I might pass on the coilovers for now so I want to use RB springs with 17" x 7" +38mm and 225/50 tires all around. If I use a 5 or 6 mm spacer is that enough or do I need more like 10mm?

why not 225/45?

you may be able to get away with 6 mm.

Honestly I haven't looked at tires yet so I can do whatever, local Craig's list has cheap rims so I want to make sure they'll work before I buy them.

I'd reccomend going for a wider rim. You're pretty much limited to a 225/45/17 on a 7" wheel. If you go up to an 8" wheel then you can go to a 245. If price is a concern, then look into Mustang rims, they're 17x8, 30mm offset and fit perfectly. A 225/45/17 fits nice and squarely on them, they're quite common and not expensive at all. If you don't use the center caps most people won't know what they're from. I've had to tell Mustang owners that they're Mustang rims before.

Ok i think i've made a final decision.

Front: 18x8.5, +20 Offset, 255 wide tire, +20MM fenders, JIC coilovers
Rear: 18x9.5 +25 offset, 275 wide tire, stock fenders rolled(or do I need a stretch, this is what i DONT know), of course JICs on the back too.

I know the fronts will work fine, the rear fender lip is the question.

heres 275s +27 offset, with and without the pull (ok the second pic is 285, but you get the idea). 255's might make it in back with just rolled lips and a little camber.

Can you stretch with a fender roller? I'm getting the car painted anyways, paint cracking isnt an issue.

question regarding brake clearance?

have anyone had o-disk (i think, or whatever the lowest clearanceones you can get are) wheels on the front of their FC?

i need to get some new wheels , as after a test drive my 17x9-7s are hitting quite baddly on my swaybar and lca...

so probably going to order some custom vs-kfs or something in 17x9 -18 ish.. with the most dish as i can get..

im looking at getting 17x9j Fronts and 17x10j rears i want to run a nice stretch on them nothing huge w 215/40/17 front and 225/40/17 rears my question is on offset what will allow me to tuck those under the wheel wells.(I know they will stick out.) Also i cant find a whole lot of wheels in these sizes a little guideance would be very helpful.

Please no flameing I know the stretch look is not to everybodys likeing but i like the style on the FC and shouldnt have to put up with your **** just because you dont like it.

Ok so it wont let me edit my post but I rethunk this and here is what I have come up with.
17x8.5 front w/ a 215/40/17 offset +15
17x9.5 rear w/ a 225/40/17 offset +12

I am running coilovers so would this setup work?

i did mine with an eastwood fender roller. its pulled about as much as it can go without cutting the inner fender.
you can do it with a pipe, it just takes more time (have to adjust ride height and all that)
