I have 17x7s, wondering what sidewall size would make the rims look snug fit. Right now its 215/40/17 and they look horrible

Running larger tires to fill out the gap is dumb and will hurt your performance. Smaller tires give you a performance boost though due to lower gearing and a lower CG height for better cornering. Taller tires also will increase the chances of rubbing.

205/50/15 or 195/50/15, but these tires are smaller in height than stockers.

No. They could possibly be made to work with a widebody and a whole bunch of extra time, money and effort, but basically no.

9 +30 in the back would fit, in the front, it will probably rub and extend past the fender at the same time.

There are ways to fit a 9 in the front, i'm sure others will elaborate.

if you want 255/40/17 all around, i'd say 17x9 +20 ish. you'll need wide fenders up front, and roll the back

You'll need 25mm/50mm rear fenders.

I've seen an 18x11 -7 in the front on an FC with just 25mm fenders.

We sell 40mm front fenders. new item!

+20 is all? can't get away with more in the front?

I was hoping not to have to roll the back. I suppose I can get them and just find out.

Well... I guess it's just a matter of using different tire size, the wheels I'm looking to purchase already come with those tires.
Obviously with an ofset that low fender rolling is a must, I was just curious about the tire fitment. I should have been more specific, I'm riding on Teins SS and Mazdatrix Camber Adjuster BTW.

if you're into competitive drifting, stretching tires can be an option.

If you're into road racing, you'll need to get a different set of wheels.
